Very Nice!

I did think there was going to be a Copper to match the GT interior. Any word on that?

The orange doesn’t seem to be close to copper nor Cyber Orange.
I am trying to find out if Kevin can match as closely as possible the copper stitching in the GT for the orange/copper color. I will get back here if I find anything out.

This is the first interior mod that has gotten me excited! I once owned a 2005 Bentley GT and every tactile element was machined metal and felt substantial - it was the nicest interior cabin I'd ever been in. I wonder if the weight of the volume knob cover will make the upper part "hang" outwards and make the action of the ring uneven? Not an issue for the gear selector ring and start button as they lie flat.

I was more wondering if the orange would sorta be more cheddar than copper colored for a matching start button. But since it's not returnable, I decided to go with red for the start button.

Ordered one of each. I was debating the headlight knob but I liked the satin black look. The OEM silver was too bright for me. Did black on all the knobs but the start button. Did orange to stand out and somewhat match my cyber orange. Thanks to @markboris for setting this up.

Hey Ben, we shouldn't have to worry about the covers falling off the volume knobs. I've had volume knobs for the ICE Mustang now for about a year and they haven't fallen off yet. They are however not as vertical as the Mach-E volume knob. If there were to be any issues, Kevin would certainly look into it and stand by his product. He would come up with a workable solution or if nothing else refund your money.

Here is one of the satin black volume covers on an ICE Mustang.

@markboris You have them on your ICE Mustang, so how are they attached on the MME? Are they friction fitted or glued on? Do you use a plastic trim removal tool to gently pop them off? I did not think about how to remove them or how they are stuck on, but now that I have some ordered, I need to think about it. ;)

I ordered black. While I REALLY appreciate lime being offered….I’m worried the Lime wouldn’t match my other interior parts. So I ordered black and will paint to match. Thank You @markboris for taking lead on these.

Hey William, yes I've had them on my ICE Mustang for over two years. Included with the covers are 3M adhesive rings cut out to fit on the top of the OEM knobs. You remove the paper on one side and stick the adhesive down on the OEM knob. Then remove the other side of the paper and push the cover down onto the OEM knob. It is a very sticky adhesive that we have never had any issues with at all. You do not remove the OEM knob or anything. These are covers that fit snug over the OEM knobs. Kevin includes about 3 or 4 of these adhesive rings in case you mess up. These 3M adhesive rings are not always the easiest thing to applyl but once you get the hang of it, the cover will be solidly attached to the OEM knob.

Hey Andy, here is the problem with the Orange. Kevin figured offering an orange color for owners with Cyber Orange paint, however there are some members that would like it to be more the copper color of the interior trim of their GT. Both Kevin and I have had requests for this so not sure what he is going to do just yet on the final Orange color.

Since aluminum doesn’t take paint well unless prepped properly, make sure you use a primer made specifically for aluminum before painting. There are zinc chromates and other primers made for this. ??

Totally understand! I think I'll be plenty happy with red.

I have a Cyber Orange GT (non-PE), so while either would technically work for me, my assumption would be *most* people looking for this upgrade are asking for a quality product to make their interior nicer, but look like it could have come from the factory that way. Am I wrong? Maybe we should poll.

I know for me, I’d absolutely want a Copper to match the copper everywhere inside, not a cyber orange to match the outside. It would be out of place in there, they are two different design areas. After all, there’s not a single element inside my car that is Cyber Orange.

Sure, the exterior colors would sell, but I don’t think in larger volume than interior . It’s also a lot of colors, vs the interior. Matte black, Polished natural, copper, red, etc.

I could definitely see the appeal of a red start button though, that’s a little different.

I believe the only metal colored surface left would the trim around the screen right? I’d matte that out and go with the copper button set on mine.

I agree with you on this.

Here is the issue, there are TWO trim colors inside the GT. There is a copper/bronze color for the door/dash trim and B&O medallion and there is a more orange colored seat piping and thread stitching. They are slightly different colors. So do you match the door and dash trim or thread and piping on the upholstery? Also, there is no way this can be an exact match since it will be anodized aluminum which, depending on the lighting (warm or cool LED, shade, sunlight, etc) will change the hue and tone of the color on the cover.
