Amazingly, a first aid kit and box of tissues would be more than they are offering us, which is exactly nothing.

Just got a call that my 2022 select with C/T is converted to a 23 select for the same price, $50570, which is $325 less than the 2023 would cost (exactly the amount that was credited for the active park assist prep kit). He is unsure of whether they can lock my rate and ford credits incentive that was previously locked in. He also does not think he can convert it to any other model with any sort of protection. It’s basically a take it or leave it deal. So really they aren’t offering anything to us for the loss of features in the ‘23 select or delay of being bumped even further out. So frustrating.

Was there a deadline on their offer to convert? I emailed my sales rep, but no response yet. He may have the day off.

It is odd, only 1 person said they got an offer. I have not gotten any email/call about rolling my order.

I ended up calling my salesperson and encouraged him to search for some answers for me. He said Ford created the new order in their system with matching information but no one was actually notified. I still have 100 questions I keep pestering him for answers about but thought I would keep you all posted on what I’m finding out in the meantime.

Since my original order was still displaying 01, I told him to leave it and see if it stays like that and gets a late scheduled build date. I will not be buying a ‘23 if it gets converted.

messaged ford.com for status. they said order processing and i thought, ok maybe it’ll get scheduled. then i asked when will the unscheduled vehicles be placed on priority 99 hold…. she said it is already converted to 2023 and code 99.
called and e-mailed dealer and they responded via e-mail saying they converted my order to 2023 and changed priority back to 10. tbd on pricing or changes

and they just said
“I have no information on that yet. Let’s connect sometime in the future for an update.”
i guess pricing is still a mystery

If you have two different orders in the system, then your salesperson is doing something wrong:

22MY to 23MY Model Year Change Over (“MYCO”) Retail Customer Orders
If a customer had a 22MY order that did not get scheduled, to preserve the order, Ford will automatically convert the order to a 23MY order in the closest possible specification on 99 priority code in WBDO. PLEASE DO NOT enter a new order. The converted order will be reflected in WBDO by COB on August 29th. Please contact your customers to discuss order details and take the existing order off of 99 priority code. Please also inform your customers that after they agree to convert their order, we will make every effort to prioritize the order. Note that due to product offering changes, it might not be possible for all 22MY orders to get converted to identical 23MY orders. To assist with identifying these customers, a list will be provided to your regional representative.

It’s clear that dealers do not know how to handle this. I just confirmed with my salesperson again that there are 2 orders for me. My original is 01 and a ford created order for a ‘23. Yet another reason dealers should not be involved with this.

Got the same thing as everyone else for my Select order - price protection. I can live without heated seats, etc but the power liftgate is my line in the sand, so I think I'll have to cancel my order. Sucks since I didn't like any of the other EVs on the market as much as I liked the Mach-E, but a Premium w/Comfort and Tech package is out of my price range.

I believe if there are no changes with the order, they just update it automatically. Only if there's a change that's no longer available would it require intervention. My Prem went through and is back to code 10 ;-)

this sounds like the dealer told you but not Ford. the price difference is from Ford through an email which I don't think anyone has received.

Were you given the option to switch to a price protected Premium?

I doubt any official private offers are out. Seems like Dealers are just taking advantage and getting a free '23 order in for their inventory lol
