I am trying to decide between premium with extended range vs. California route 1.

Does the passenger seat on CR1 stay 4-way manual, as in SELECT? Is there an option I can buy which makes it 8-way power? On premium the ordering guide clearly says it's 8-way power.

I know there are several other differences. What others are focusing on when deciding the two? Which one you are going with and why?

TBH I dont know why Ford didnt kill the RT1 this year the features have a lot of overlap. CR1 would be rarer and orders usually close first. With feature creep it is easy to justify just a couple thousand more and I can get premium, a couple thousand more and I can get a GT...
I would def get the CR1 over a select though... Also aero wheels, if you like smaller wheels, no liftgate, etc

Agreed, if your paying north of $60k just get the GT. In for a penny in for a pound.

To be seen on the MY23 but when I was pricing insurance for various EV's there was a substantial increase in the insurance cost of between a Premium AWD X and a GT. The GT was about 35% more to insure. MME Select, Premium were surprisingly close.
