“Private offer” anyone?

All - yesterday after i spoke with the dealer in person (i visited the dealership), he said everything is fine with my order as i have no changes (Premier SR RWD). But i see that later in the day i get a mail from Ford saying that new order has been placed by dealership for your 2023 Mache and it will take them 45 days to provide the next update. So did the dealer do the right thing ? Is this is expected result on when your unfulfilled 2022 order (from Feb 07th 2022) is moved to 2023 ( i had got SMS from Ford)?

I got the same email from Ford saying new order has been placed however my order date has not changed. It still shows 2/16/2022. I believe it is expected. I received this email even before I spoke with the dealer, they might have upgraded my order without asking me. I went to the dealership and the salesperson said my order is fine and had priority 10.

Double check with them, maintaining your original order is important in the private offer and locked incentives

You must have missed the last 16 pages talking about the lack of options on the new Select...

Yep! I don't make a habit of reading pages and pages of whining about features that are no longer available. If that's a deal-breaker and buyers don't want to upgrade to Premium, then the dealer will refund your deposit!

Thanks, even for me on View Order page on Ford.com it shows my original order only. But it's so confusing email communication from Ford they said "Thank you for your early order."

Wow I've seen march folks get built you got hosed, your dealer must have had a low allocation which usually is a red flag unless you live around somewhere remote

The GM said he thinks the private offer will be select to select, if you upgrade to premium you will just get the select private offer. This is some BS.

Hmm not remote location..Los Angeles and this is one of the known dealer here, may be my freaking luck or the color I selected which was discontinued (DMG), anyways hoping that I get Mache soon

Yup, this is why I’m agreeing with my coworkers now. Order a Tesla and save yourself the headache.

Also I checked with Dealer and my order's priority code is 15. Not sure where this number stands in line but I think 10 is the highest priority and I hope the codes dont start from 15 !

well... then you gotta wait moar. Plenty of folks here said they got a 10 or 11 including me and I ordered in april, would have been in march if I didnt wait to get my xplan pin

Just FYI, I got a call from the general sales manager of the dealership today saying he spoke to his Ford rep and that his rep wanted to make sure 100% on how things worked. That the rep needed to confirm what the private offer would be switching from a select to the premium to retain the comfort package, and to make sure that I still got priority in the build schedule. The ford rep speculated that as long as it was the same order number, priority would be maintained, but did not know what private offer I would get. The ford rep felt I would still get the select to select private offer, but did to not if I would get the premium offer. For me, I would be happy to just make sure my priority was maintained. If I get the select offer I’ll be more happy, if I get something better because I’m spending more money on the premium I’ll be ecstatic. But… the GSM said both he and the for rep were both speculating and that he wanted to be certain before they did anything with my order. He felt sure he would know Tuesday (end of day).
