Just got a call from my dealer, car has arrived and will be ready for delivery this weekend.

Last update for mine was back on 9/4, when it had shipped as far as the Kansas City yard. Today my estimated delivery date was updated from 9/20-9/26 to 10/25-10/31. So...I guess it's just going to sit in the rail yard for another month? Very frustrating. Not to mention another month worth of interest rate hikes while I wait to finance this car I ordered last November! Waiting on the chat for @Ford Motor Company customer service, but since they never have any transportation updates, I'm not hopeful that they will have any useful information.

You should have price protection. With Ford so the interest rates when you order is what you get. So hike shouldn't matter.

Is there documentation on this somewhere? I've seen discussion on this forum of the price protection extending to the financing. But is there some official version I can point to when talking with the dealership? Not expecting to get screwed, but I want to be fully prepared in the moment.

Finally picked up the car today. Ordered early November and it showed up at the dealer yesterday. Very cool so far! And very glad for price protection on the interest rates.

It drives great, I have been stressing about the suspension and that after some of the threads here, but I think it’s good considering the Mustang focus of the Vehicle. Only have about 30 miles on it though so it’s still early, but I have taken it on some of Michigan’s rougher roads around us, and have no complaints.

I am glad to see so many getting their cars. While this is around the delivery time I was notified of, my dealer's last prediction was another 3 or 4 weeks. But I am glad that we solidly negotiated the price, plus the usual Hawaii mark up, before I wrote the deposit check. At least that will not be a surprise.
And, I spent some time calculating miles / mileage last night. We can drive all the way around the island, including to both north and south sides of the furthest point (Kaena point) and to the east (Maui facing) side and still get home with about 25% battery remaining. Somehow my range anxiety has dissipated!

Judging by other folks posts when that happens, I think the system just slides right a month at a time until given better fidelity. BL: The suggested date range is a WAG and should be essentially ignored.

Yeah, when I ordered my F-150 it arrived a week before the ETA, and with my mach-e the original window was 9/15-9/21. Then it moved to 9/21-9/27, then it moved to 9/29 to 10... something. But the day before it arrived at the dealer it went back to 9/21-9/27 and arrived on 9/22.

The ETA only really updates based on the estimated time from the current step to the next step and the estimated time for any remaining steps. So if it doesn't see an update by a certain point on one step, it moves out the ETA. But sometimes steps have happened, they just take a day or two to be loaded into VV, so it pushed the date out.

tl;dr, I wouldn't stress over ETA time shifting too much.

Picked her up today. The folks at Kearny Mesa Ford were top notch. Got price protection + X-plan, 48 month ford options 2.7% + $2500 rebate.

Ford tracker still shows in shipment. LOL

Picked up mine yesterday. (Even though tracking still said it was in Kansas ?) Got the 1.9% interest rate on 60 months. They didn't budge on the MSRP price increase though. I may have to reach out to Ford to see if a refund check is in order. I also got low-balled on my trade in. Ended up selling it to Car Max for $2000 more than my dealership offered.

I would post a picture of my MME, but it is very dirty. My ceramic coating applier requested that I tell the dealership to leave it alone so that it will be less work reversing whatever they do it (and reduce my cost).

Well, my estimated delivery date of 9/18-9/24 has come and gone. Latest from the dealer is just that it was last scanned in Kansas on 9/9 (previously they would only tell me Kansas, but not when that scan was). Today I checked ford.com and my estimated delivery has been updated to 10/11-10/17.

@Hoff - Any updates on your car or the train shipping your car? I called the dealer today and they told me the train is still in Mexico.

Last update - 9/19 - in a junction in MX

Ford has my delivery window set as 9/22-9/28 but dealer said that realistically it would be 3-4 weeks from today. Looks like the next big milestone for my vehicle is to leave MX and get to the US. 1 month and counting...
