You're pretty much just looking for wheels you like that are in 5x108, min 63.4CB. You can do 18" or 19". Wheel weight ratings need to be at least 1600lbs (Assuming you have extended range). Offsets in general are pretty modest(+35 to +43mm), so unless you're going after specific aggressive offset wheels.

As for the tires, you need to make sure you have XL rating for the weight.

Common affordable wheels available that people seem to be running that hit the mark are Niche and Rotiform wheels (same company). Cheaper wheels would be American Racing.

I literally just reached out to my dealership about this. You'll want to make sure you get rims for the tires too. I asked to have my name put down for winter tire packages as soon as they become available. Sales guy said they will be available in a few weeks. I don't want to run Into supply issues. My car has a production date of September 26, so I know I'll be getting it in the middle of winter. With the packages and it being a dealership I know it will be expensive, but I also know I'll be getting the appropriate rim and tire for the car. No guesswork.

Hi,
I went with Hankook Ipike last year.
very good tire. Increased road noise for sure. But did a good job in all my commuting from Barrie to Toronto.
very happy with the rims I picked also.
Bought the package in Barrie Ontario at Revolution Tire.

I bought Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 and a set of black alloy painted wheels 18 x 8. With TPMRS sensors. Total package cost me $2000 plus installation and balancing. They worked well in my heavy snow area of rural Grey Bruce Ontario.

Random question regarding snows - I have a set of snows from my Honda Passport that are still in amazing shape. Provided I get new rims to match the bolt pattern would they work? They are 255/55R18

You’ll need to check the weight rating and tire width as well. Not all tires will work considering that EVs are generally heavier and feature narrower tires compared to many crossovers.

Got Ford rims
Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium Mach E Snow Tires 1663363527645

and pairing with Michelin Snows 225/60R18. I think they will look good with IBSM

Hope you didn't order those tires yet. Specifically the Michelin X Ice snow tires in 225/60/18 are not XL rated.

You have to go up a size to 235/60/18 for the X-Ice tires.

Thanks for the heads up. GVW is 4837lbs and the 225's can carry 1765lbs/7060lbs. I went with the larger 235's. Cheers, John

You gotta check if the tires can handle extra weight. If not, they are a risk. Do your research on what the load rating and speed rating designations mean. You'll want something like 103T at a minimum.

Likely going with Michelin X-Ice 225/55R19/XL from Costco + steelies.

I've had a few sets of X-Ice over the years and like them a lot vs. others I've had when they were not available.

If you're getting wheels anyways, you can save yourself some money & get better range by going down to 18" tires. Here's my post from the other thread:

A bit ahead of schedule, but better to be prepared before winter hits. Got my winter setup put on.

Budget friendly wheels and good winter tires :)

Here is a closer look when I was doing fitment testing. Just enough clearance for the brakes ? and yes the wheels are balanced now, and the wheel weights still clear the caliper.

I thought about going down a size (I did with my Volvo XC-90) but it doesn't seem like the X-Ice comes in an 18" - the Michelin site seems to offer just one 18" option - the X-Ice North 4 in a 225/60R18 104T XL which seems to be a studded tire.

Maybe I'll look at some other options in 18"...
