I have to say that this is the first car I have ever owned that has had to go back for recalls.
That's very fortunate, 4 vehicles I've owned have had a fairly major recall on them. Worst was the Takata airbag one where there was literally no solution for the first year and I think 2-3 years total till they finally got both of mine replaced.

As an early HVBJB victim, it’s hard for me to disagree with this ranking. No new car, especially a supposedly more reliable EV, should need to be towed in at 3000 miles. The center screen refusing to turn on and requiring a reboot every morning in the cold also severely dampened my enjoyment for the first 6 months.

Yeah I suspect it's a combo of the recalls and the infotainment system. Infotainment has tanked Ford and others on these rankings in the past. It even tanked Tesla for one model year I think when they were having the CPU/display overheating issues.

It's funny because historically, having an issue like the HVBJB hasn't hurt rankings too bad, what does hurt them are persistent issues like infotainment. And it kind of makes sense. My '21 F-150 had to go back to the dealer three times, and sometimes was there for a couple weeks due to backordered parts. It doesn't really bother me that much and overall the truck has been great.

But if I had to face some of the issues people here have, like still not having a frunk button, profiles not working, still no bluecruise, etc, stuff that you face every-single-time you drive the car, I would also rank it low.

Ford needs to consider that stuff. Recalls are a pain, but can vary between a half day at the dealer to maybe a week. People move on if they like the car. But daily issues that you face, especially when newer vehicle owners don't face them, that's no good. We have only had our MME for a month, but have had no issues with PaaK, frunk button, or profiles.

My last three cars have all had some type of recall that I had to take into the dealership. At least my MachE was (sort of) fixed OTA.

Instead of a clickbait article, let's look at real testing. Mach-E was rated 82 by Consumer Reports. #3 of 26 luxury compact SUVs (including ICE).

Ford finally fixed the slow USB media load auto jump to radio problem I had since day 1 during one of the recent OTA. Only took them 2 years since the vehicle release. Got to give Ford a thumbs up at least for finally fixing it whether intentionally or accidentally.

If I remember correctly. The reliability score from JD power is from user surveys. Counting the number of problems from the user survey pool.

Of all the many, countless number of cars I've owned, I rate my MME as the most reliable. I don't trust Articles which don't give an explanation of what specific items they found to mark down the score.

My review gave VERY negative review for the dealer parts of the survey but overall good marks for car quality. That was before all the recent issues.

Every car we've owned in the past 10 years have had recalls except one (Mazda CX-9). Ford, Land Rover, Jeep, Toyota, and Subaru. The worst was our 2019 Ford Expedition and closely behind our 2015 Land Rover LR4.

Click bait.

Really? Literally, every car I've ever owned has had recalls. Every single one. And just because you don't know about a recall doesn't mean they don't exist. My 17-year-old Tacoma still gets recalls, Toyota just doesn't do a particularly good job of informing me about them.
I owned Porsches for 25 years, before the MME and I never had a single recall.

No one catch that although it is "least reliable", it has the second HIGHEST overall score of 8.4?

Every car I’ve owned has had a recall. This is my first Ford.
Same here. Been a Honda family and my wife and I had several recalls and so many issues with our latest two Hondas, no longer a Honda family.

Dumb article with no info. As many have pointed out clickbait.
