The reliability of EVs in the aggregate is irrelevant to the consumer. You don’t buy a class of cars; you buy a car. The MME is reliable, as CR notes. That’s all a potential MME buyer needs to know.

Even my damn MME has been invaded by Amazon w/o my permission. ( Have yet to figure out how to remove it completely.)
I do not advocate over regulation, but Amazon, the stock exchanges, etc. are excellent examples of areas where regulation would protect consumers.
Bill Gates laughed at the Feds. when they threatened to go after him. He simply stated he had better lawyers on staff (and of course more capital) which would prevent the Feds. from ever succeeding.
If we allow them to own that many politicians and to get that "big" we end up with Bill Gates', Amazons, Walmarts, etc.
