It’s not an F150.f150 has quite a few. anyway good to know
I understand, but the comment about the F150 was not. It’s not an F150, it’s not even a truck. There’s no reason to be disappointed when it’s not equipped with the same accessories as a truck. It was a genuine question
Is there a 120v outlet in mach e ? I looked in the obvious places in the car and could not able find one.
It feels it should have at least one for a electric vehicle.
I had it in my previous Ford edge and we used it a lot to charge laptop.
I too have been disappointed by the lack of any 120V outlet. As far as laptop charging though it has not been a problem. Pretty much all laptops manufactured in the last few years support charging over USB-C, as long as you have a charger that plugs into the 12V outlet in the console and provides Power Deliver (PD) over USB-C. There are a number of units capable of 30W (1.5A @ 20V), I have an Anker and it has worked well enough for me - it charges slowly, especially if the laptop is in use at the same time - there are also 45W options out there but I haven't tried any of them. My minivan has an 120V outlet, but when the car is in motion my laptop's 87W AC adapter/charger which is bulky often falls out, so in the end I use the 30W charger more often.Yeah. I was expecting at lease one outlet.
Every other Ford SUV except the Escape has an option for a built in 120v inverter. I think it's a huge oversight on ours, that and no towing.I understand, but the comment about the F150 was not. It’s also not an SUV guys. It’s a small cross over utility vehicle. A third decade of the 21st century station wagon. With Mustang styling. I get it that you think there should be a 120v outlet. There isn’t, and that should surprise no one.Every other Ford SUV except the Escape has an option for a built in 120v inverter. I think it's a huge oversight on ours, that and no towing.
