Unfortunately, it’s past time. The BlueCruise CSP expired on 9/30/22.
I can only assume that Ford set that date with the expectation that between OTAs and dealer visits every MME would have BC by then. Seems like they will never learn when it comes to setting dates for the MME.

That about sums up my experience for nearly 2 years since the car was delayed on delivery sitting in KC. Still love my problem child though.

I bet that even after the BCM OTA happens along with an APIM configuration change, the FordPass app will still not have the button. The FordPass development team is seriously slow and disjointed. 😱🐩

Something is not quite right with the frunk issue on job 1 cars. What that is we don't know. But at this point, the declaration something is not quite right is stunningly obvious I think.

Yeah, strange how something that has been in production for a year and three months (nearly 4) hasn’t made it to an updater package. Honestly, I think Ford’s OTA update scheme is a bit whacked. Or a lot whacked. 😱🤔🐩

Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again, if it's a matter or resource allocation I sincerely hope that Ford directs those resources to fixing the front camera fault/collision avoidance failure issue rather than creating a frunk release button. Let's get the serious stuff working right first, is my suggestion.

They really need to do both. Really. We're at 16 months (plus) since a remote release frunk became operational on Job 2 cars. Either there is an issue pushing the known software or a lack of resources as you've said. Either way, it's not good. They have until 11:47:59 HST on December 21 to meet the often bandied-about target of "fall." Anyone want to start a frunk pool? :p

I will take the over. They won’t make it. It’s software that exists and they aren’t able to produce an updater package in a timely fashion. 😱🐩

I still think they forgot to install the bubbler for the koi pond in job 1 cars. I haven’t heard anyone with a job 2 car complaining about their koi dying of asphyxiation!

I believe you meant to say “frunk pond” 😀

Consider: Ford has thought it more important to get games out than to resolve that issue. Ford has thought it more important to get NBC Now out than to fix that issue. Ford has thought it more important to get YouTube out than to fix that issue. Ford has thought it more important to get Alexa out than to fix that issue.
Are you seeing a pattern here yet?
Either the issue is REALLY hard to fix (like frunk release hard) or it’s “don’t care” on the list of things to fix (it’s been given the “funk release” priority).

I've been away from the forums, FDRS, etc for a while. I just went in to FDRS and spotted a Multi-Module that I haven't seen discussed.

I don't have a Job 1 but I was curious as to whether this would also update Ford's back-end servers in order to allow the FordPass app to have a Frunk button (knowing how finicky the FP app is). Has anyone tried it? 🤔🐩
