Yes on the center display, but only if you put it there yourself with FORScan. Ford hasn't added it yet.

If you buy the hardware and FDRS, you can update the modules yourself and get it working. But it should come out OTA. Hopefully soon since its available to install through FDRS.

The BCM module is out on FDRS (mine updated by the dealer) and it does activate the frunk with the door keypad code, so it's almost useful now. But not the button on the Access screen (need FDRS+hardware or some other way to toggle the setting). Would be good for Ford to add that and add frunk back into FordPass when they do.

You can enable the button on the screen with ForScan. Its disabled by the APIM config on cars that haven't had the update yet.

Job 1 car here no Frunk button on Fordpass app, Button in the fronk does not work and nothing on keypad or on screen. If you are a Job 1 car you need a lot of patience.

A long while ago, the front hood button appeared on the Sync screen but it didn't work. Just made a noise. Eventually it must have went away because I haven't seen it in quite a while.

A subsequent APIM update changed the config file to hide it for the cars that didn't have the update yet. Once you get the update you'll see an APIM config update that will re-enable it on the screen.

I have a Job 1 car - not in EA. The BCM update enables the frunk release, including the button inside the frunk and keypad code.

It’s been quite a while since I logged on, have been busy with a move, but golly, I’m still waiting for BlueCruise, that frunk button would really make my day, and to see the new thread puts a smile on my face ? ?‍

I know, FDRS or the dealer. That last episode where I lost handsfree trunk, and damage etc really made me shy away from taking it in. Maybe it’s time.
