I was thinking about getting scissor jack to put in my MME. just in case I need to lift the car and try to fix a punctured tire. I have a quality tire repair kit to fix tread punctures. If I am around town, I am calling AAA to help. I was thinking about a punctured tire in the middle of now where or when the nearest tow truck is hours away. Jack the car up, fix the puncture, fill it with air and away we go.
Anyone know of or have a quality scissor lift? I was taught to buy quality and buy it once. I want a jack that will work when I need it, even if that is years of it sitting in my trunk. Would love input on a good quality made scissor lift. What tonnage do I need? I am only picking up a corner so I know it does not need to be rated for the full weight of the car. 2 ton?
