Hey all,

I have a SR Mach E, 21 model. I just got the service vehicle soon on my dash. How do I reset it myself? I only had a service and I guys must not have reset it?

Thanks

You don't want to reset it. It could be a failing HVBJB (or something else). You'll want to see what the codes are first.
It almost sounds like he just had it serviced and perhaps the dealer forgot to clear it. But certainly if it is a new thing he needs to have the dealer deal with it ( and probably best anyway if it was just serviced.)

Maybe. But I would certainly see what codes it's got before resetting it.

Oh so it means something bad is wrong with the car? Not your original typical service light that I use to get on petrol/diesel car?

It's possible since Ford does use the SVS warning for some things that are serious.

I have 17,000 miles on my car and have never seen this. There was no in-car reminder for the 10K service. The only reminder was in FordPass.

Edit: I suppose this could have been changed by a later update?

Thanks for the help everyone! Il call ford Monday :) They had the car to fix a faulty door module so not sure if linked or different. I am back from Spain (2 weeks) so assumed the system drain was cause car was sitting for a bit and it just needed a drive but maybe not

Just to update, I actually never called ford because the errors went away after a few drives. This morning I got a message on ford app saying there is a system drain which may be linked to third party devices. Then it just hit me! I hardwired a dashcam while back which was working wonders but now since it's getting colder and this is the first winter with the hardwired dashcam, I believe the 12v low voltage battery is getting hit hard by the harsh weather (frosty mornings etc) and because I have parking mode on 24/7 on my dashcam, it's constantly taking power and is draining the battery! Not sure what I will do now, so far I have just switched parking mode off since I don't drive the car that often since I work full time at home remote.

Wanted to post in case others have similar issue.

Yes, don't use parking mode on a dashcam. The Mach-E 12V battery isn't big enough for that. Make sure the camera shuts down fully shortly after you park so it doesn't continue to drain the battery.
