Hi there! If you're willing to send us a private message with your VIN and dealership information, I'll be happy to see how I can assist on my end.
Thank you for your concern but I already have a case number open for this.
I spoke with the agent and explained that my warranty was expired so any diagnostic and repair charges would come out of my pocket. The agent did say that Ford would be willing to offer "financial assistance" but stopped short of saying the entire service would be covered.

So, in light of that information.....and the lack of a verified solution path....I will just keep driving with limited functionality. When a verified fix is determined then I'll revisit this concern.

When it comes back next summer then I'll just buy that harness assembly and change it out myself. Will probably take me about an hour which is better than multiple days or weeks at the dealership.
My warranty has long expired so the cost of this repair comes out of my pocket anyway.
I'm sure Ford Mo Co will come out with a Customer Satisfaction Campaign (or official recall) to correctly fix this problem for all affected owners (regardless of mileage) without charge. Hopefully they prove me right!?

I would hope! This issue makes so many of the safety/convenience features not available.

It is possible. I think the folks at Ford generally try and do the right thing when they can. It just depends on how much their hands are tied. Typical large corporation red tape sometimes gets in the way. Usually on a person to person level.....the folks at Ford are very helpful.

From my point of view, Ford has honored their bumper-to-bumper warranty period. Anything and everything was covered during that process with no resistance what-so-ever. Anything above and beyond is a bonus and will be considered as a good will gesture in my mind. 👍

I currently have both of these errors permanently on my vehicle. Is there a way to utilize "normal" cruise control. I have tried but get a message that says something like "emergency braking not available".

In my experience, I am not able to use normal cruise control. A couple of other people have posted in the past they were able to disable adaptive cruise in the vehicle settings and normal cruise worked for them even with the Front Camera Fault. Unfortunately, that does not work for me, unclear why. You might try disabling adaptive cruise and see if it works for you.

I have tried switching the mode in settings from "Adaptive" to "Normal" but I get the message I referenced when trying to set the cruise.

The only guarantees in life are death, taxes, and Front Camera Faults
Now that, my Mach-E friend, is terribly funny for a Friday! What's not funny is that my GT was not discharged today from the Ford hospital... 6 weeks and counting!! Tech is still testing to see how the system works with the new coax harness... At least my SA got me another full gas top-off for our trusty Camry Hybrid! It's really exciting to drive (sarcasm dripping out) every day!

Picked the car up, same faults. Taking it back Monday and starting the buyback process 💔
@MissBossJenay Did dealer order & replace the first coax harness in the headliner? That should be attempted at this point in the game! Ugggg.

They replaced so many things. Maybe even the camera. At this point I give up.
UPDATE: My dealer SA informed me on Sat about some minor delays after replacing the camera coax harness in the headliner. They needed special headliner glue to reattach new harness and that needed to be ordered. Then, unfortunately after so many module updates & programming, the LVB went south and needed replacement! I'm guessing it drained too many times while off a charger during updating sequences. Should be covered by warranty since shop has had car for about 2 mo! My 12mo purchase time passed already.... ugggg. Fingers crossed for reunification this week!
