I sold my 2021 in July. My email is for a 2022 pretty clearly. It's in the subject line.
Others have said that their subject line also says 2022 even though their car is a 2021. Does it include the VIN so you can be sure it's for the correct car? Also, does it say if it's 3 years from now or 3 years from when the car was purchased?

I received the same email . . . I have a First Edition.
I had the same question about the length . . . . 3 years from ownership or 3 years from today? Nowhere does it clarify . . . in the email or in the Agreement.

I called for a PDR:

+1 800-321-7790

They said i wasn't in the system yet. Calling Ford customer service.

Note, I have a 2021 with an email saying 2022.

UPDATE: I called support, they transferred me back to protection, they transferred me again... No one said it was fixed in the system but after 45 minutes I had to hang up to get to work.
This protection does not apply to pre-existing damage, so... it might look a little suspicious to be making a dent claim within an hour of receiving the email? Unless the coverage dates back to date of vehicle purchase, which I hope is not the case.

The agreement says that these coverages (all of them) are only available for purchase at the time of sale of the vehicle. The terms were not designed for the protection to handed out later by Ford as a thank you. But I would suspect the coverage starts now? If anyone can confirm, would be appreciated. Also, this is not a signed agreement, so is Ford just creating a registry of eligible VINs?

No VIN included.

No timing included.

And, someone called and can't use it yet - not in system.

This is basic customer communication 101.

"Your 2022 Mach-E, with VIN XXXX... Coverage begins Month name, day, and year (because if they do MM/DD/YY then people argue about format). This has been loaded in our system so you should feel free to use it starting today."

I know that if you were to purchase this coverage, it would start from the date the car was purchased, so I assume that will be the case here as well. I guess we'll see.

Yup just got that e-mail as well.

Reading the fine print on DentCARE it would appear that it doesn't cover small scratches or stone chips (e.g. they don't want to pay for paint) :(
Yeah, only PDR. The PDR is great, but too bad there's no PaintCARE. I've got a few scratches on the plastic rear tailgate I'd love to get cleaned up.

But I didn't have the dent when I got the car! ;)

Plus suspicious isn't conclusive.

I'm looking forward to saving some money of the PDR.

Nothing for me either. It'd be hilarious if it was linked to your original vote on the survey - in which case I'm getting an extended battery warranty or a new battery!!!
