Not oily. I thought I should protect parts of the car and it was taking the brunt of the spark blast. After that I switched to tin foil.
Thank you guys for your pioneering adventures! It sure was easier to shorten the bar clamped to my workbench...

Looking historically (google), Steeda has Black Friday sales. If you’re still on the fence, that might be the time to get it for a discounted rate. Fingers crossed they offer it at a discount and don’t exclude it from the sale ???

Rear sway bar is 20% off right now. My car just showed up at the dealer this morning, so maybe it's a sign?

I'm familiar with stiffer sway bars on other cars making snow/ice handling a little worse due to the higher outside pressure on the tires - is that a consideration here? Anyone drive in snowy conditions with the sway bars at a stiffer setting yet?

I will never be able to answer that question because I didn't drive in any snow last year and now I have no plans to switch back to the stock bars. This will be hard to determine anyway because you will need to test using the old bars, and then switch to the new ones and test again, in exactly the same conditions.

Sounds like it would be more fun in the snow with the stiffer bars ?

@markboris was kind enough to send me one canister of the lube and I love it. I used some the other day. I wanted to get more for when I finally get time to install my sway bars. You can never have enough grease on hand. I called Polybushing to get more and the very nice lady said that the manufacturer change the formula and the lube is "not as good as it used to be". John at Polybushing is talking to the current manufacturer and looking at others to find something equivalent. I am hoping that they have some in stock but they were getting low. Otherwise I have to live with the one canister I have and stretch it. Bad news for those of us that wanted a superior grease. ?

Steeda recommended the grease below. I think it’s just what they supply with their kits, but good to know if you need a quick squeak fix. They carry it at Ace and Harbor Freight.

I have not installed my bars so I do not have first hand knowledge of the supplied grease. I have read on the forum that people used the grease supplied and their bushings are squeaking. I will let other chime in with their first hand experiences.

That’s exactly why I bought the grease. I contacted Steeda and they recommended that to fix the squeaking. I just did the fix a couple of days ago so I can’t comment on longevity yet.

I used the grease Mark recommended and I think mine are squeaking also. At first I thought it was the strut mounts, because I have had those squeak on other cars, but then I heard a squeak in the rear. It only does it when it is cold. As the temperature warms up, the squeaking goes away.

In case anyone is wondering what it sounds like when your bushings need to be greased again. Or if you were wondering why your suspension is making this noise!

That's interesting Mike. I think mine have been on a bit longer than yours but haven't had any squeaks yet and hopefully don't plan to. However if I do, it would be the first time after using the lube I recommended. I have them on my GT500 which is almost 3 years old and were on my 2016 Focus RS which I had 4 years and 2014 Escape which I had 7 years. If mine start squeaking, I would think that the bushings that Steeda uses in the Mach-E are different than the bushings they used in the kits for the other 3 cars. They don't look any different. Typical looking polyurethane bushing to me.

I made a mess applying the lube but maybe I didn't put enough on. Newbie here...

I put a thick coat inside the bushing that has ridges to hold grease and even coat the bar. It may be overkill but I'd rather have more than not enough. I use a little over one container for all four bushings.
