Well I guess Ford is sharing the joy of "Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power" all over the land. Got an OTA yesterday and this morning saw the orange wrench of death. Called the dealer and they can't get the car in until the 17th. I asked just to see what he'd say, if the car was safe to drive, and he said he couldn't answer that. So I'll be crossing my fingers for the next 8 days since they don't "do loaners". Oh, and they still don't have the replacement panoramic roof for the one they busted doing the recall. I wish I didn't love this car so much because this is frustrating.

Did you receive the SVS message along with the wrench of death? I have not received the OTA or the error message but others have reported driving for a bit with the SVS message. I can not recall if some have slipped from SVS to SSN but I think there have been a couple.

How did they break the glass roof doing the recall? It did not require removal.

I never did take ours in for the glass recalls. Partly because of all the horror stories on this forum! We only had the SVS alarm pop one time 3 days short of a year with the car. This was before they came out with the recall to warn of pending HVBJB failure. Dealer applied a GSM update to clear Powertrain fault.
