I had referred them to that.
For me, they got moving from that point at night or early in the morning after a full day rest.
I think that at that location they drop off railcars going on to Port Delaware.
Port Delaware is where the MME that I'm planning to buy arrived at.
crossing fingers for you.
Or if you want to try my now former dealer's MME and without holding your deposit, he gives up on that ADM Shenanigans. But I heard that he has to wait 10 days before he can consider it abandoned?
Mine also just arrived there today! Really hope I can take delivery next week. The port is only an hour drive from meHow long was your car in port of Newark. Mine just arrived today in Newark/Elizabeth port. Want to know how long i should expect it to take to get to central nj dealer.
Congratulations btw
Are you saying that it arrived in the NJ Auto Ramp (near Newark), or is it truly listed as Port of Newark, NJ?How long was your car in port of Newark. Mine just arrived today in Newark/Elizabeth port. Want to know how long i should expect it to take to get to central nj dealer.
Congratulations btw
Schultz fordI am within an hour from there. What dealer are you using?
I don’t understand how dealers don’t know the Options plan? I picked up my 22 from a tiny dealer, the salesperson didn’t know about the Options plan but the finance guy did. My 23 is a big volume dealer and they aren’t aware of it, impossible. Plenty of people are doing the Options plan just in this forum alone. I wonder if they don’t make as much if they process the Option as opposed to a lease or traditional financing? That would explain why they “don’t know what it is”.Finally purchased my vehicle today using Ford Options. I had a similar experience to many on here: first they claimed to not know what Options was, salesperson hadn’t heard of it, finance manager had never done one. I was then told it wasn’t available on my car. After some mild pushback from me, they found Options in their system and went to work processing. It still took some additional effort to get it all squared away.
I had to push again to get APR from my protection date 8/30, but I was successful in getting 4.49% and $500 incentive. I think it initially came up with 6.5%. The manager and I worked together to figure out the rate protection in Smart Vincent since I seemed to know more about it than him.
They did understand that it is not a lease. In fact, it’s way to sign a lease-like contract while ownership goes to the buyer who can then claim the tax credit. We were all clear on that.
I don’t believe there was any ill intent on their part. Just not something many customers ask for and it’s been quite a while since Ford trained them on it. In fact, the finance manager and I worked together to get it all squared away with the Ford finance rep on the phone helping. He seemed happy to learn about it too.
It shouldn’t be this way, but be prepared for a bit of an uphill battle if you ask for Options. The dealers just aren’t familiar. In my case, I got lucky with some good people who were willing to figure it out together with me.
No upsells, no markup, or hidden dealer add-ons. All in all a positive experience which made the drive home all the more exciting.
i think yours must have been sitting right next to mine if this was thursday? unfortunately mine is already in the shop with some kind of PAAK problem.Got the call from the dealer yesterday and took delivery today! They said about 30 Mach-Es had been delivered so hopefully others will be celebrating soon too.
Space white is an amazing color.
