Went and finally got to talk numbers today (car arrived Tuesday). Couldn’t be happier with my dealer Maguires east. No problems with anything. Got everything figured out and can’t wait to pick it up Friday.

Well, the cold weather already has me installing a home level 2 charging system. That didn't take long. Hopefully I can still do all my actual charging at my office where it's supplied by our solar farm and is free.

I really don't know how you all with Standard range batteries deal with it in the cold weather.

My car along with two other MMEs delivered today to dealer. Will be able take delivery just in time for 2022 tax credit deadline. Phew.

My MME arrived at the dealer on Wednesday!

Bad news is I'm also out of town and am in the middle of trying to close the deal remotely. I wired the dealer the money and they haven't gotten back to me as to whether they actually see it, even though my bank says the money was sent. I've been frantically calling them to get an update since I also saw an MME with my VIN on their website. When I finally got a hold of someone they said their accounting team was off for the day, so another day of waiting ?

In order to get the tax credit, do you have to actually take delivery in 2022? Or can I pay in 2022 and take delivery in 2023 and still have it count?

Just got great news - my car arrived this afternoon!

Backstory:
I called the dealer this morning asking if he knew the whereabouts of my car after seeing that the delivery window had changed from 12/22-12/29 to 12/27-1/2. I was not happy about that! He looked it up and said it’s location had not been updated for a month. Was not sure if it would be here before the end of the year. Ugh.

He called me this afternoon and said it had been delivered.
I’ll make the window for the tax break!

I got standard range and drove a round trip of 165 miles with 55 miles to spare yesterday. I thing the estimates are grossly underestimated honestly

Don’t know why so many CA deliveries got flunked. Was so frustrating seeing people in the 12/7 build week already take delivery, nearly shipped a month after ours. Not their fault, but logistically it doesn’t make sense.

EDIT: Omg. A 9408 batch made it to my dealer. You may ask where my 9380 batch is? Couldn’t tell ya.
