How do I tell a '23 from a '22 on the street?

I read in another thread that the 2023 has a much smoother drive, a new suspension system or ...?? So if you see a MME bouncing allover in the street, it's probably a 2021 or 2022 version.

I’d never driven a MME before last week, but I’ve read all the threads about bounciness.

I can tell you that I have no complaints about the ride in my 23 GT at all. In fact I love it. It’s very nicely planted to the road and while I haven’t been on any especially rough roads with it, I’ve not noticed any bounce at all.

I’ve read all the threads about bounciness as well, and I haven’t noticed it at all in almost 2 years with the MME.

I’ve also read all the threads about bounciness and my 2021 Select AWD was quite bouncy on highways with concrete pavement when hitting the joints between road sections or roads with a lot of potholes. My 2022 CA Route 1 does not have a bounciness problem, which leads me to think the heavier battery and smaller wheel size (18” versus 19”) makes a difference.

I remember seeing a YouTube video last year where the engineer responsible for the MachE discussed the improvements planned for 2022 and 2023.

It may be tough to see especially from a distance but the pony emblem in the outside corner of the headlight is on a '23 Select. My '22 Premium doesn't have a pony.

She discussed future improvements. I don't believe she mentioned specific model years.

I'm still sitting waiting for my order from 9/7 to go into production, and every time my partner and I see a MachE on the street she says "is that a '23?" and I don't know how to answer.

We usually look at the tags to figure out if it's recently delivered or not, but obvs a '23 delivered in '22 has about the same tags. I could probably take a picture of the vin and look it up at home :) but I'm hoping someone here knows at a glance whatever small subtle thing that will tell a '23 model year from a '22 model year? Usually there's some small difference in the body fascia?

TIA!
i believe they went to a glass roof in 23

Ride quality was one of the primary reasons I switched to a GTPE. My '21 Premium was an extremely stiff, harsh ride especially on the poorly maintained county roads with all of the cracks, potholes, different pavements, etc. I kind of got used to it, but I had to stop drinking coffee on the way to work as I would always spill it just coasting down the road. The '23 GTPE has been SO smooth, even in unbridled* - I love it!

Edit: going to take a while for me to start calling it "unbridle" (no -d now!)

I am late to the party, my 2023 Premium is Vapor Blue. It has gloss black mirrors and wheel well trim. It also has the tiny pony emblem at the rear of the headlights.

I was not sure about not finding the AM radio, I am struggling with understanding the owner's manual. I also now know why I have not been able to get the hands free trunk opener to work. Thanks

Found the hidden pony on my 23 GT! Thanks!
