I think you’ll find that to be the case for any PHEV that people actually want. Did you like the Sorrento? If so, you can try to get the PHEV version. The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV also looks quite nice.

Definitely the escape, plus Volvo’s lineup has plug in Pretty much across the lineup.

Lincoln as well.

I owned a Mitsubishi Outlander ICE version and while it was a pretty bulletproof vehicle for 100k miles, once things started to go wrong it seemed that everything went wrong all at the same time. I'll never willingly go back to anything that burns gas, but if I had to I'd look at an Escape or the Audi PHEV.

I see 2023 Outlander is in stock now, 38 miles range and 3 row seating. I think it's the best selling SUV PHEV in the world, though that's only like 300k units. Not sure how the dealers will be though.

Yeah, it’s a lot nicer than the old one. But don’t plan on putting humans in the 3rd row.

Nissan Rogue (not hybrid but great gas mileage)
Kia Sportage plug-in
Toyota Venza Hybrid

My daughter has asked me to research the Audi Q5 PHEV. Nice ride, but a little pricey. I like the Ford Escape PHEV, 35 miles of just EV range. That usually works for running around locally, then you have a normal Hybrid.

Last I looked, the Wrangler 4xe was the best selling PHEV. I think they offer it in a Cherokee as well. Pretty decent vehicles IMO. Well, pretty descent for a Jeep at least....

Nope. It's just the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee that have plugin variants available so far (at least in North America).
