Some Owners might have found that our front door handle delete kit showed up on our website.

It's been almost half a year now since we started to work on the kit, the reason why it took us so long is that we encountered some kinds of small issues that didn't expect while we are making them. and they are now ready.

But before you purchase, we need to let you know that it won't bring a 100% OEM look to the Mach E, (I would say 90 percent), I would say it is 【someone that doesn't familiar with Mach E won't know there was a kit you added to delete the door handle, but you know】

The reason why is that when we removed the door handle, there is a notch on the frame, and we tried a could different solutions for it, but they either made it too fragile, or the shape of it will change over time(we tested them for a while)

With that said.

They are now available.

Deleting the front door handle, definitely make the Mach E look more futuristic.

all the tools will be in the package, including: Left and Right Delete Kit, 2 rubber plugs to plug in the lower screws hole when the door handle is removed, rubber strips to make it match OEM, Screws Driver(two ends have a different size, one end for the lower screw and one end for the upper screw)

If you are hesitating, lets wait for other Owner's feedback.
if you really don't like the front door, this is something for you.
if you need door handle and want a set on the rear, we have that as well

we had now improved the tape we use on the door handle and improved the molding, and if you still issue with the adhesive, let us know, we will send you some adhesive promoter.

If you watch the video above you get a fair idea of what it looks like.

@AOSK was there a reason not to include the post that extended down to the lower hole in the door?
Seems like this would have been super easy to 3D scan the original door handle and just use CAD to shave off the winglet before milling a new handle. I’m a huge fan of yours but this looks like you tried to reinvent the wheel.

Hi Buddy,

We did use 3d scan on the original door handle.
But the reason why we didn't go all the way down is that it's not necessary, the OEM door handle will expect ppl pull them a lot, but the delete kit won't. so instead, we made a plug for that place and only used one screw( I wish the Mach E has another screw on the front end, that would definitely save us a lot of time).
and we spent a lot of time on adjusting the height of the screw area on our kit.
We thought this would be very easy item to make compared to all of our other products, at the beginning we made the 3d samples in a couple of days and started to make molding. and then we encountered a lot of issues after the product is installed for some time. That's why it end up taking us almost half year.

Thanks for answering the question. Makes the logic you followed make sense.

I bought mine on 11-Oct. I saw it on the EV Vida website but ordered from Amazon. It has shipped and I am just waiting for it to arrive sometime between next week and beyond. As soon as I get it, I will install it and provide some comments. I was willing to take the gamble for $29.

I've installed the delete kit on the driver door. I think I like it, but I'm not 100% decided yet. More specifically, I like the look, but am not quite sold yet on functionality, as it does make opening the door slightly more awkward. Given that 100% of the few passengers I've had have had difficulty opening the door initially, I do not plan on adding the delete kit to the passenger door, as that'll just make it even harder on them.

Overall, the delete kit was pretty easy to install. It took me maybe 10 minutes, working in poor lighting in a parking garage. As a nit-pick, it would be nice if the short end of the L-shaped driver was a bit longer, as it kept hitting something while turning the screw (although all L-shaped drivers I've seen seem to have roughly the same short-long ratio, I expect the driver was an off-the-shelf part, or sourced from a 3rd party, not manufactured by EVMod). I happen to have the right set of tools, so next time I'll plan to use my own driver; if I didn't have that, the included one works well enough. The most difficult part of the install was aligning the rubber seal perfectly. It occurs to me as I write this, that attaching the rubber seal to the handle part instead of to the door might have made this easier (and would last longer if I wanted to swap back and forth).

Thank you for this feedback!
we use the solution of attaching to the kit at the beginning, and we made a couple molding on them, but the solution wasnt ideal and not OEM enough, so we had to give up on that.
The driver is actually specially made, we made a molding for it so that both sides has a different size.

I replaced my front door handle and it looks good. I think the warnings from AOSK are fair. It is not perfect but I definitely like it better than the door handle. The installation was simple thanks to the video from @AOSK.

Any chance these are getting added to Canadian Amazon?
