several sources:

I loaded the vin in my ford app and someone at the plant activated it (see previous posts)
I also got a FORD email saying that it had completed production, which I also verified by logging into my ford account. right now the ford app still shows it's at the plant, supposed to move any day now...
Thanks! I guess I'll stop calling and just wait for the email. If it goes chronologically, I hope to get my email by Monday.

I call or use the chat link on ford's website. The status check app is not real-time information it only shows the last update. My car was built for almost a week before the status checker showed built. I would contact ford, they are extremely helpful and don't mind checking for you.

Anyone else get any updates on shipping. Called Ford today, they said it's in Laredo Texas.
I believe they go from plant in Mexico to Laredo and then on to Kansas City. From there they get put on appropriate transportation method to move to dealership although the wait in KC can be the longest leg. Mine arrived in KC on 12/14 and is still there. Good luck and hope yours continues on with little to no delays.

I thought my 12/19 was moving, but turns out I regained location through the app and it's still stuck in the assembly plant, so the estimated delivery given by the dealer of 1/18 is not going to happen, this is a blessing in disguise since after the tesla pricing cuts, I am most likely walking away from my '23 select AWD standard range sticker $51K, no longer seems like a compelling value proposition and I don't feel like loosing 1,000's of dollars by driving it off the lot, although that was the normal pre-pandemic ?
I personally don't understand the transactional relationship some on this forum have with their MME orders. I love the car and think Teslas are ugly and have other issues (not Musk-related) that concern me. Other brands don't interest me. I'm keeping my order.

As I have said elsewhere, I went into this expecting nothing in terms of a rebate. I may get something now, but even if I didn't get a rebate ($3750 if I'm lucky), I'd still get an MME. I don't think these canceled orders mean much to Ford. They'll just sell to someone else.

Geez that's a long time. I hope mine doesn't have to go there since I'm located in the south. Seems inefficient to go north just to return south.

In the good old days, old guys like me bought cars because they looked good. Technology was one touch power windows and power locks!
Then tech became the thing - adaptive cruise, navigation etc. Then a $10,000 adaptive cruise option on a 1995 Mercedes is standard on a Honda today.
Then the pandemic came and everyone started getting ripped off and it all came down to the almighty dollar.
I'm kind of with you - the MME has less range than a Tesla, less charging speed than an Ionic 5 and an inferior warranty than both.
BUT! Iove the way it looks and want it!
BUT! I still don't want to get ripped off when the car arrives almost 11 months after I ordered it on April 8th 2022.
SOO.. I DO like having a comparable / affordable option in a Model Y that I can pivot to if the dealer thinks he has me by the short hairs even if it ISN'T my first choice.
Hey! Everyone else on my block has a Model Y.. How bad can it be? ?

Yeah, I hear you. My delivery date is all in the abstract for me. I don't even have a VIN or build date yet. I do want an EV, and the MME is the only one that appeals to me. If something about the order goes south, I'll either find another one on a lot with no ADM, if I can find one, or I'll get an ICE vehicle and maybe trade for an electric in a few years. I'm not going to get an EV I don't want because I can't get the EV I do want.

I’m not going to blindly stick my head in the sand and ignore the fact that a model Y is priced cheaper than the Mach-e right now.

That's fine, but why come to a Mach-e Forum to go on and on about Teslas? Isn't there a Tesla forum?

If you are looking solely on price then go for the Tesla.
If you are looking for the best built EV, look at the MME.

I love my first Ford F150 Lightning EV truck.

Build quality is great, zero issues since day 1, top notch OTA, and a great EV experience.

I am hoping my incoming MME is just as good.

My ‘22 Mach-e select RWD was awesome and liked it so much that decided to order a ‘23 select AWD. I just think that they overpriced at the moment

Guess price is up to the individual.

I am waiting for my incoming '23 Premium RWD that originally was a '22 from April 2022 order.

$6500 PCO plus the $7500 tax credit (under the max by $25), $2000 Options credit, $2000 state rebate, $1000 Ford Pass points.

Net cost of my '23 Premium will be $37K.
