In addition to the heated rear windscreen there is something called " The heated rear wiper park" I'm guessing it heats the wiper arms assembly
This normally means the heating elements in the glass also cover where the wiper blade sits.

Edited to Add,

Most fords have had this for a while now, you will normally see a few wire loops down under the wiper where it sits at rest.

According to the Quick Reference Guide you can release the rear liftgate from outside the car without your phone or key by using the Keyless Entry System keypad on the driver's side window pillar using your entry code plus 5-6 within five seconds
This is a standard Ford and Lincoln feature for decades, and actually makes their vehicles more attractive to buyers. I use the keypad on my Fusion to save the fob battery.

As for Helm, Inc where I have bought all my GM and Ford service and user documentation since 1969 (my dad's 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme was the first), Helm sells them much later after the specific vehicle is produced (service manuals a year later). So I recommend waiting a while then visiting the webpage for the printed Owner Manual, and a year later for the printed Service Manuals. For some vehicles the documentation may be also offered in a CD or DVD format.

I hope it works well also, it's something I love on my current car (since it works very well).
In @ChasingCoral 's second video over in that thread you can see them work, including a long-ish set of time where I'm pretty sure they weren't on when they should have been. (FWIW they work well in my Fusion - the auto kicks on about 95% of when I want it to, and they clear the windshield competently in any event...)

As I said before, I don't know what sensitivity Alex had the auto wipers set on.

sure, but I have to believe that one stretch had it turned off - at least I hope so, because there's a LOT of water - I actually was like "how they heck can they see right now?" at one point. ?

Yes but at one point I considered asking her to turn them off because there was so little rain and they seemed so loud -- only because the Mach E is so quiet!

One word . . . Rain-x. Save on wiper noise and the energy to run the wipers other than in the worst conditions. One of the first things I will do.

There are Rain-X treated wiper blades nowadays. They work very well. I put a set on my Fusion about 4 months ago and I'm super happy with them.

The best according to some Youtubers are the Silicon ones, they are available on amazon made by PIAA

I'm not sure why you'd go through all of that to open the lift gate, when you can just open it by moving your foot underneath it. Strange.
Seems to be the same way I could open the trunk on my 1999 Sable, 2010 Milan Hybrid, 2013 Fusion Energi and 2016 MKZ Hybrid.

For those of you that have auto wipers, I canā€™t figure them out on the Fusion Energi. I have them turned on in the information settings, but is this the right setting on the stalk? They donā€™t seem to come on. Just curious as I have never used them.

Cannot tell from a photo. From the off position push the stalk up one place for Auto mode, push up two places for constant on low, three for on high. The dial will set the sensitivity for auto mode.
