Drive mode unavailable, kicked out of Unbridled

I keep getting drive mode unavailable errors on the center screen followed by a blacked out car mode screen. It’s happened about once daily. Thoughts?

As mentioned elsewhere, I started getting that shortly after the 4.1.2 update (but I know it happen with earlier versions) and it happened twice, and hasn't happened anymore. Bit of a mystery.

I had this happen once to me after getting the equiv of the 4.1.2 OTA. No idea what triggered it, and also why OP has had it with such greater frequency. Hopefully someone in Dearborn or somewhere has some analytics and logs and will fix this.

Happened to me recently. I'm on 4.1.3. Worked fine after being shut off and turned back on.

It also happened last summer after being parked on a hot asphalt parking lot. Temp indicated on center console was 100+. After it cooled off it worked fine

It happened to me while driving today. Basically went from Whisper to Drive mode unavailable. I did noticed it seemed to behave like Engage as I could see the braking coach stats while that was happening.

Still while driving, when waiting at a red light I was able to put it back into Whisper. I couldn’t change the drive mode to anything while the car was moving.

Very cold temperature here in Quebec today at around -25C.
