Interesting - that'd be 1.5 hour break after every ~5 hours of driving. I wonder if/how the break requirements (30 minutes every 8 hours) will change in light of that, and if it flows through to the 11/14 hour limits.

If they could charge while they load/unload, they could pick up an extra 30-50 minutes of charging at every stop. Somebody will make a few dollars installing chargers at transhipment warehouses, eventually.

Cleveland Brothers ought to get great use from the trucks for delivering heavy equipment to jobsites.

The question is where do you park the trailer while recharging every 5 hours?
To make sure that they don't block the aisle, they'll parallel park and block all the other chargers.

Stopped at Sheetz in Harrisburg, PA and saw this. Guy said it takes an hour and half at 350KWH. He also said it's quick on the road--even loaded. Very cool.

You'd better believe he'll aim for the 350 kW chargers!

They should plug from both sides- if it can take up 3 spots and 4 chargers, that'd be great.
I wonder if Nikola is working with any of the big truck stops to put in super duper chargers.

From what I understand, the new Megawatt Charging Standard (MCS) has not yet made it through SAE/ISO approval.

It’s just so crazy to me that the application is being put out in the world for a huge power need such as this and the standards to make it practical haven’t even been worked out.
