It’s a very well planted car due to the weight and center of gravity. Steering is tight enough to not feel like it’s going to get away from me. The electric motors feel smooth even at high RPM. Worst concern for me would be traction loss but using it fast only on proper surfaces and when not cornering negates that concern.

To be honest, not much “handling” happening at 113mph in a 4X, at least, there shouldn’t be ?. Now, if by that you mean stability, then yeah, it’s very stable from 100-113mph as @Murse-In-Airy stated. I’ve seen 100+ mph dozens of times in my wife’s 4X and although it does have 20” aftermarket wheels with 255/45 tires, it felt similarly planted with the oem 19” wheels and 225/55 tires.

Thanks for the reply. My auto pilot cuts in regularly (wife ) but is okay when blipping for overtaking. Looks like we are in for some dry weather so will take it out soon.

East of El Paso, TX on the I-10 where everyone is going 100MPH our Mach-E felt planted at the 113MPH limit with nothing weird going on. And it should be fine at even higher speeds... Pretty much any modern car today should be fine at 113MPH.

I maxed out on my GT and on my select, the GT is a bit more stable, the select is not.
on straight lines they are ok, but with slight curves don't do it, especially on the select, it feels like the car wants to roll and fly.
If you do max speed for a minute, your car will throw a warning and throttle your performance so it is ok, do not freak out.

Top speed handling is great! Just don't try to turn.

I was on the Daytona (Rolex 24) track going 113mph for at about two minutes in total over large portions of 3 laps. Surprisingly solid. I had a GT PE before and of course that felt like it stuck to the road but sometimes TOO sticky.

I can easily chirp the Premium "bicycle" tires accelerating hard out of a turn on normal roads. I think this video explains what I experience. I do think the thinner tires have a use case for slightly nimbler handling on regular roads at regular speeds.

Glad to hear that about the Mach-E, but I do think a lot of modern cars feel unstable at 100mph+

Agreed. My MME planted. My RX, feel like it's going to take off like a prop plane.

I have not proved the top end of my GT-PE, but I suspect it’s just fine. More than likely it’s a lot better than my ‘72 Blazer at its terminal velocity. ??

I know that road well, Ft Bliss was my last assignment before I retired. My family stayed in SA and I drove the 550 miles between them monthly.

First day I owned my MME cruised down I-95 in Delaware for a few miles at 111-112 (too busy watching the road) and I was passed by some girl in a Buick GN. My car felt well balance and rock steady but that poor Buick was litterally rockin' and rollin' as it passed me.

Every new car I have ever owned has received it high speed badge of honor at least once, even the wifes 23' Nissan Leaf made it to 105, but THAT was a bit scary!

Enjoyed my Jaguar S-type. Hit 140mph a few times lol. A bit slippy in the rain.
