Another myth.
I agree, but prior to starting the update, I engaged the parking brake. It is almost like a superstition. You know it makes no difference but you do it anyway.

My car is still stuck on the guest profile. It is fairly annoying.

I used the GPS for a 140 mile drive this morning, and the estimated charge at destination was about as good as it has ever been. The problem is the car does not know how fast I am going to drive. I think if I drove close to the speed limit, it would be very accurate.

Initially it predicted I would arrive with 40% SoCD. After driving at 75-80 mph for about 40 minutes, it had adjusted the prediction down to 38% with 113 miles remaining. When I was about 20 miles away from the destination, it dropped the estimate from 38% down to 34%. It was like it suddenly figured out how fast I was actually driving. I arrived with 35% SoCD.

So overall, it is accurate enough to be useful. But it doesn't seem to be any different from previous times I have used the Ford Nav.
Did you get a notification in the display that it was adjusting range?

No. The behavior seems to be the same as before.

I just got it finally.

was out and about and parked and “checked” for updates. Said it was downloading the update and showed the release notes before it even installed (nice change!)

got home and got a prompt that it’d install tonight during scheduled downtime.

for giggles, asked it to install now. It gave me a 120 second countdown to vacate the vehicle and “secure it”

I plugged it in (even though later remembered my ChargePoint is hard configured to only after 12am) and closed all doors. Auto locked by walking away

installed without an issue. The car was quite loud while it was updating

If I remember right, I understand that the vehicle should *not* be charging. Good thing it was set for later I suppose.

It could be my imagination, but the braking seems a lot smoother after this update. The transitions feel less harsh. The adaptive cruise acceleration and braking PIDs feel more refined as well.

It can’t be DC fast charging. AC charging is fine.

What drive mode? I have been using Whisper because cruise is much smoother. I can't say I have noticed a difference, but it might be more pronounced in other drive modes.
