This hasn't even gone out to all the EA folks yet. I don't have it.

In the past, I have seen non-EA members get updates before me, so I am not sure how it is managed. In this case it seems like only EA members have received the update, but it is likely non-EA members will get it before all EA members get it. As it has happened before.

It is possible cruise is smoother. Now that Lee reported it, I will pay more attention. But it was already very smooth in Whisper mode.

I have not found anything that has changed because of this update, yet. Other than the problems, of course.

I agree, but prior to starting the update, I engaged the parking brake. It is almost like a superstition. You know it makes no difference but you do it anyway.

What drive mode? I have been using Whisper because cruise is much smoother. I can't say I have noticed a difference, but it might be more pronounced in other drive modes.

How many profiles do you have? Have you tried them all (multiple)? Maybe make a new one and see if it will take that then switch from it to yours and see if it does? Then you can delete the new one. Whisper takes highway curves a lot smoother also. I could not select drive mode a couple of times after it was updated selecting unbridle took than whisper did. Take a different route ?‍

My car is still stuck in the Guest profile.

Are you able to change the profile by selecting the seat profile manually by pressing the door buttons?

My car is still stuck on the guest profile. It is fairly annoying.

When my car is stuck on the guest profile ... I reboot sync and it's fine. Hold the volume-down rocker on the steering wheel AND press-and-hold the "next track" (right arrow) button ... for about 5 seconds. When you see the center screen go black it has started the reboot.

After it reboots (takes a minute for everything to restart) you should be able to get it off the "guest" mode.

This was one of the few updates I got an EA survey about, I did let them know it was the first time I had an update fail twice. Maybe something up with this one that they will correct?

Thanks for the suggestion but I tried that a few days ago - no luck. There is another thread about this happening and that solution is to add a new profile, and then delete it. I have not tried that yet.

I didn't try the door buttons, but I did pull up the profiles on the Sync screen and try to change it there. The weird thing is when I select my wife's profile, the seat moves like it has selected her profile, but the button image does not change, and her profile is not selected.

So it is like some profile settings are getting accepted and some are not. The radio station presets are not changing to her profile, for example. Only the seat moves to her setting.

Thanks for the suggestion but I tried that a few days ago - no luck. There is another thread about this happening and that solution is to add a new profile, and then delete it. I have not tried that yet.

This has been my go to method of correcting the persistent guest profile. When able give it a try and see if it works.

Make sure Phone & Key are tied to your profile.

maybe I will hit up the EA email address to see if they can assist. Couldn't hurt at this point. Failed again today ?

I was trying Whisper and Engage. The blending feels better rather than it just abruptly cutting regen when friction is needed.

It could be my imagination, but the braking seems a lot smoother after this update. The transitions feel less harsh. The adaptive cruise acceleration and braking PIDs feel more refined as well.

I agree. I think there’s a difference. Much smoother. Especially as you get to a full stop. Really like the update

only quirk so far is that I charged to 100% last night even though it’s only configured for 85%. Hopefully a quirk
