I have same error updating CMR

FlashSoftware CHECK VALID APP FAIL (the first time, the progress bar freezes at F188 ML3T-3G604-XL, internal operation in progress...) I waited for 3 hours but nothing happened.

Yes i am beginning to think european cars are excluded from this package. So the availability in fdrs is an error

Maybe... My dealer has replaced the steering column and is also unable to program the new part. They are waiting for an engineer to review it.

Nice to know that the package is giving issues on multiple cars, please give a update when you know more.

Now for the "spicy" part.

Spoiler: License update

When you buy a 1 hour license and do not quit FDRS you can continue to use FDRS without any issues. An 1 hour license in Europe is 16,50 and basically you can use it all day. Reading network info, flashing firmware, it all works without issues. A one day license is 66 euro, so even if you quit FDRS a new 1 hour license is still the better option to continue.

Has anyone noticed the license or payment server being down today (27 May 2023)?
Before I even enter my credit card information to purchase a 2-day license, the page says, "Your card could not be authorized at this time." in a red banner across the top of the page.

I did the recent HVAC update yesterday and it just updated the ECU Configuration.
F10A LJ8T-14C651-AP -> LJ8T-14C651-AR

The other powertrain updates got removed due to the successful Powerup 4.2.26 that occurred the day before.

Not sure about license, but I did login to FDRS app and checked out my Mach-E, no updates to report...I have a 1 year license so I didn't need to purchase anything. ( I did it about 30 mins ago)

The helminc server is returning a 500 internal server error on several different machines, phones, and browsers.

Seems like they've broken something. I'll have to try again later today or tomorrow.

I did my 6 month update today. New PCM update. PCM still shows available after a network scan. I’ll run another scan see if it’s still there in the morning. I did about ten files, all loaded without any problems.
After finishing I check my software update screen and this popped up. It must of loaded via OTA during my FDRS file updates. Any ideas

FYI the CMR update only takes 20 minutes with a VCM3. If that was taking 3+ hours, it means you have an inferior J2534 device or some other issues slowing things down dramatically.

My CMR took 50 min with the lap top on ethernet not WiFi using Mongoose cable. Voltage never dropped.
