This SSM has been replaced by CSP 23P08. Mention that instead.
SSM 51727 2021-2023 Mustang Mach-E - False Alarm Activation And/Or Warning Message In The FordPass Application - Built On Or Before 21-Apr-2023
Some 2021-2023 Mustang Mach-E vehicles built on or before 21-Apr-2023 may exhibit a false alarm activation and/or warning message in the FordPass application when the doors are locked. This may be due to the software in the door latch control module E (DCME), door latch control module F (DCMF), door latch control module G (DCMG) and/or door latch control module H (DCMH). To correct the condition, download and run the door control module software update application for each module one at a time using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 58219A65 and applicable labor times in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
----End SSM----
If you get false car alarm activations and there is not a moth or mouse in your car, your door latch modules probably need updating. Faulty software can cause random alarm activation.
