Not sure how long they've been publicly reporting this at such a detailed monthly level, but check out "Ford US Sales Inventory and Production for November 2020" on shareholder.ford.com.

2,545 Mustang Mach-E's produced in November.

That's interesting and more than I would have thought. Wonder how that lines up with the estimates here?

Interesting that it's almost ½ of Nov production of the regular mustang. Will be really interesting to see how Dec. works out considering the pandemic and all.

Also ½ of Mercedes' entire 6 yr production for the US of their B-Class EV that my spouse has now. :)

We have always known from the "insiders" that production was going to ramp up slowly with the brand new production line.

Sure, but 2500 is a larger number than I expected all things considered, but makes sense with the Demo cars.

How did they build all those cars in Mexico before the tooling was even there at the beginning of this year?
I must not have read through something correctly.

all the ones you see before the big increase in numbers were all the ones that were pre production models, crash test mules, and the ones the engiineers are using for testing so more than likely all were built by hand or most of them at least.

Then NOv was actually all automated as the numbers increased liek 10x more so i think they got the bugs worked out for mass production so I would say they will have maybe 7k cars built in December

Wow.
I guess I should be a better shareholder, I never really thought to dig for these types of reports, but what a good find!

It always amazes me, whether it's always just Trolls or cynics, but I am thankful and impressed things are rolling along as they, considering the crippling pandemic that is still going strong.

- Like, a car has set backs, but some get produced (naturally for a "Legacy like Ford, they work out a lot of the issues *BEFORE* self-inflicting "Production Hell" even occurs), but for some they don't care, and they wonder about shipped units.

- People are getting build dates, albeit later than they would like (#StillAPandemic) but at least progress is being made!!!

- December 15th (I think) is when the wrappers comes off the auto media and they car release their stories and give us actual news, some good, and some probably we won't all like, but to consider the weight Ford has put behind this Mustang, shows they are serious... not perfect, but serious about doing it right.

I don't know... I guess I am a rare Ford Fanboy... fan enough to give Ford the benefit of the doubt (and my money), while knowing and believing they CAN compete with *any* other car maker, ICE or EV, while at the same time believing Tesla (also a shareholder) is the bar to meet or exceed.
I was on the rezzy list for a Model 3, I was *going* to buy a Y after I canceled my Model 3 Rezzy to wait for the Y, but then my First Love, Ford rolled out news of the clean-sheet, ground-up, non-boring compliance car based in the the most storied nameplates in history.
So then, my dream of a Tesla turned into my goal of owning a Mach-E despite it "not being as 'good as a Model Y", but I needed to support the Blue Oval and some production is better than none, and we just have to hope and pray the autocrats don't shutter the world again, but if not, Ford will do well with the Mach-E and while I would never use the over used sensationalism of "Tesla Killer", for me, the Mach-E is thee best, natural way to compete in the EV Market and take on Tesla and do it in a way that is typical Ford/Mustang... "Legacy" for me is not a pejorative term, mainly when it come to Ford.

Sorry for the rant. Don't post much but this story and the thread got me thinking.
