@Ford Motor Company I just want to echo the HUGE thanks both for doing this and communicating it clearly.

I’ve got a Job 1 ‘21 and it seemed to me like it would get 1.2 but that wasn’t stated plainly. Having this press announcement explain exactly which vehicles will receive it so it’s not up for debate is fantastic.

I would have loved actual rollout dates, but I’m impatient and just want it now. ?

Way to go. Can’t wait. And I LOVE my Mach-E is still getting not only bug fixes but new features. Exactly what I was hoping for. I know there are limits, but I truly appreciate you continuing to do what you can.

Thank you @Ford Motor Company for the hard work, and thanks to all the engineers that are working on this. Looking forward to more Blue Cruise Road trips.

Great timing! Was working on my Autotrader ad as this post arrived. Will put it off for the time being. ??

That's a poor promo video from someone who has no idea what he's talking about. He can't even grasp the basics of charging and how it works, what the transition to tesla ports bring, etc...
Eh, it’s entertainment honestly. I will believe that this is getting pushed via OTA when I see it. Not a single unit has been pushed 1.2, only the newest cars got shipped with it. If the rollout actually happens of 1.3 before the end of the year, good on Ford.

Yeah, they are. But they're doing it the right way, IMHO. Deliver super valuable features that people might pay money for. Compare that to GM's Carplay decision, which sounds more like "block features that are traditionally free and then make people pay to get them back".

That said, will I pay $800/yr? Nope, too expensive. But I appreciate that they're at least adding value.

They (Ford) should have had it a an add-on like Tesla with enhanced autopilot rather than a yearly subscription. BC 1.0 included in the price of the car, these updates that warrant a rev change is BC+ (1.2+ features). I bet your more likely to get new buyers to pay/finance $3-$6k extra at time of purchase than you are to get $800 a year/$75 per month

Yeah I agree. I’m fact, some of us probably thought that was the case at the time of purchase. It was not obvious that it was a subscription IMHO.

It sounds like cars rolled off the assembly line with it starting June 30th. Based on past experience with the OTA recall, we could reasonably expect to get something next month?

I’ll believe it when I see it in my Mach-E. And I’m still not subscribing. The price is ludicrous for a level 2 ADAS. Level 3? Yes probably worth it. As it is, nope.

I'm looking forward to 1.3 to test out how it works on the narrow lanes of H1 Interstate in Honolulu. Let's just hope it can drive me all the way to work instead of half way to work. ROFL

If you live more than 5 seconds from work, you’ll be late.
