You're definitely a long-time resident if you remember that the neighborhoods were numbered! ? I was in Neighborhood 3, near Bowditch - Pompano Circle. San Mateo HS Class of '78, though I moved after 10th grade and graduated elsewhere.

Sure, my most recent update is priority update: 23-PU0110-RAD-PS. The radio update.
Note: I’m pretty sure this is something done on Ford’s side, not at the vehicle.

I just got this update, and my frunk still does not work electronically. I have never had it updated to activate the pillar code by my dealer. I was kind of excited it might work for Job 1 cars that never had the updates installed by a dealer. Bummer it didn't.

Got the update today, the update did not have a version number:

True I did get the module update through the dealer a while ago but nothing ever appeared in the ForPass app until this update. I had to refresh the screen after the update and the frunk button appeared. (I have a Job 1 FE)

Job 1 here. Got the 23-PU0110-RAD-PS update overnight. Lo and behold, the frunk button showed up in Fordpass today. Maybe a happy coincidence, but it seems they are related. Android phone, no Fordpass update recently.

I have not had the updates done to add the button on the Sync screen, but I did notice the door code worked to open the frunk earlier this year. Not sure if that came via one of the OTA's or I got it during one of the dealers failed attempts to do 21G01 late last year or early this year.

In any event, I can confirm the frunk button in Fordpass works! Likely won't ever get it on my Sync screen, but nice to be able to open it remotely via Fordpass now.

I havent got the the 23-pu0110-Rad-PS update yet but got the frunk button in the last week or 2. I had the FDRS update done about 3 weeks ago.

Tonight I went to open the tailgate with the app and guess what I found:

Yes. It works.
That’s 2/3. Still nothing on the Sync screen.

I had looked when @Jimrpa started this thread and nothing. No sign of it on my wife’s phone yet.
I just got 5.1.1 today too.

They’re having a hard time trying to figure out how to monetize the frunk remote release.

Expect the OTA soon™ after they figure out the pricing. $800 per quarter? It will work anywhere, not just on surveyed and divided controlled accesses highways! A bargain!
