I received the email about an hour ago as well.

I started up my MME to see if the update was queued there and found that my automatic update was toggled off. I'm thinking from a previous update (last I got was the radio station update) turned it off. So I'd suggest checking your automatic update to make sure it isn't toggled off.

My automatic updates seems to randomly get toggled off.

I got the email today I am not in the EA program and still don't have a working Frunk button inside the Frunk or app or dash or anything. I am a Job 1 2021 Premium.

It's crazy seeing the inconsistencies. I am on a 2021 Job 2 Premium and have Frunk in app and dash but I don't have BC 1.2

I don’t think any 2021 Job 2s have anything aside from 1.0

When BC 1.3 rolls out via OTA updates, we’ll essentially jump to 1.3

Also the frunk issue only impacts Job 1 2021 vehicles (AFAIK)

There are only really two versions that are "in the wild".

BC 1.0 is on 2021 and 2022 cars.
BC 1.2 is on 2023 cars.

From what we are reading from Ford, cars on BC 1.0 wont go to 1.2 ... they'll just straight on to 1.3 -- No need to update to the 1.2 version to get to 1.3.

The person I replied to mentioned they received an invite to a beta program.

They just edited their post since not a lot of people know about the beta they mentioned and it’s different than the EAP for PowerUp updates. That specific beta is confidential so I was just telling them to be careful mentioning it.

Yeah, the last update wiped all my SiriusXM stations to default.


I hate ford's OTA process. They Zero everything out instead of saving and only updating what's changed.


/my clock *said 24hrs, but the actual display shows 3:00 PM. had to toggle 24 off/on to 'wake it up'
