So where are we at with the class action? We should get that rolling on Jan 1 so when they expire all of us, we have something to talk about. Because we won't have BC to bitch about working some of the time.

(I'm oddly comfy paying $200 a year after this last trip out of town. BC was a good 7 hours of HF)

Actually, you learn to adjust.

First, barely anyone has cable anymore, Boomer. So yes, I can use my streaming anywhere I go. Same for insurance.?

Your response was ridiculous.
To say barely anyone has cable anymore is also pretty ridiculous

*Barely anyone under the age of 60?

Zing!?
It certainly isn’t what it was but barely?, as they say, where are the stats? I guess only 48% of Americans is barely.

and yes I am over 60 and still have it but so do 66% of my kids, how about that stat!!! ?

MAYBE if its level 3 fully autonomous driving, I would consider that but not a level 2.

I have a 2023.5 with Bluecruise 1.3 and i absolutely love it... It makes my commute such a dream... I really don't want to pay $800 but i also really see the value of having this. I hope they lower the cost but honestly i may pay it anyway :(

Yes boomer. Haven't paid for cable TV since cutting the cord over 10 years ago. Cut the phone cord 2 years before that.

The point is subscriptions aren't a daily thing. To say that you only want to pay when you drive the car, on a divided highway, is crazy. But you know that.
Every person in this forum is providing rationales for why they wouldn’t pay.
I did the same.

I did not state that I would only pay when I drive. I’m sorry you misunderstood.

My point is: Not all consumers will fit into “one size fits all” subscriptions. I do have to consider that the time I AM home, is not worth the money for any subscription that is currently planned.
And for those of us that are required to travel for work, deployments, etc- these are factors that we would have to consider.

Maybe instead of getting in the chat to make snarky comments, just highlight that you don’t understand Where someone is coming from- or ask for clarification.

Sorry, I haven't read through 23 pages but has anyone posted comparisons with other non-Tesla competitors like VW or Kia/Hyundai?

Separate.
BlueCruise hands free is the subscription issue.

My '22 Lightning did not have BC but did have cruise control w/ distance & follow features.

There is not a chance I pay $800 per year for simply hands free.
$200 tops. I get that the system must be maintained and developed.

So, literally $800 to not have hands on the wheel. That's it. Quasi-self-driving with hands on the wheel is not a part of this, right?

This is clearly a case of a disconnect between the actual value to the customer and the perceived value by the company.

I'm guessing either Ford will relent on the pricing or cancel the service completely when they can't get enough subscriptions to justify keeping it up to date. And why would someone buy a car that is going to require them to pay close to $1,000/year for a feature that provides a marginal benefit in (for now) limited circumstances?
