My 2022 mach started accelerating without prompt ?!

Once while my wife was driving , and it sped up while in one pedal mode,
Then again the same day when I was parking it in one pedal mode it accelerated while I was letting up on the accelerator .
And finally coming out of you turn it decided to accelerate and had to jam on the brakes...
I called Ford and they told me to take it in to my dealer and it's been sitting there for a month now .. Anyone else have any acceleration issues with there 2022 mach e? My dealership keeps giving me me gas guzzling loaners (2023 explorer & a 2023 ford f150) I just want my ev back but without issue

The only issues I have read have been people who had something like speed limit sign recognition going on but their car read a highway sign instead of sped sign. For instance shot up to 90 on Hwy 90. There could be others but I do recall several people experiencing this issue.

First, turn speed sign recognition off. Second, be aware that accidentally pressing the adaptive cruise control button at the left of your steering wheel, will accelerate to "resume" your last cruise control speed. I have inadvertently pressed it with my palm, and had the vehicle speed up to my surprise.

On a few occasions my 2022 has done a weird thing while it should be decelerating during one-pedal driving. I'm not 100% certain if it accelerates, or if it almost just goes into a free coast for a half second as I'm slowing down.

How long does yours last? How much speed does it gain?

The only time my car has started accelerating without me expecting it, I had accidentally turned on cruise control every single time and it defaulted to the minimum speed which was faster than I was going at the time. That button is very easy to hit on the steering wheel on accident.

It's from my hand bumping the cruise control button on the steering wheel (the button is too close to the edge and the palm of my thumb presses in to it if my left hand is holding at the 9 o'clock position). My cruise control doesn't activate at parking speeds (under 5 mph or straight out of a u turn doing under 15 mph) I've never had any issues with it like you've mentioned . Cruise control wasn't a factor in any of my instances where it accelerated without being prompted to

Idk if that's a possibility, or if that would be wise on my part or the dealers part to release a vehicle with this issue . Idk how safe I'd feel if this wasn't rectified by my dealer and if I'd be deemed liable if it did malfunction and cause an accident.

Enough for it to jolt and alarm me and my wife. It doesn't last long because naturally as any drive would you'd apply pressure to the brake as you don't want to test the limitations of how dangerous your car can be, as it acts erratically

After you release the brake, does it again accelerate or does it behave normally as if cruise control had been deactivated by your brakes?

It stops after braking , mind you cruise control wasn't activated while I was parking or coming out of a uturn because cruise control can't be activated unless your driving at a higher speed (at least in 30k driving experience in my mach e)
