Has anyone that owns a GT model made a trip from San Diego to Palm Springs?
if so, was it without stopping for a charge? Which route did you take? And is There a good amount of charging stations there? I made a few trips to LA and back with it cutting it close when charged to 80% in LA and making it back home with 12% left.
Will be going in beginning of November so temps should be cooler, does that give more distance or less?

Here you go: adjust the settings in ABRP for cooler temps

129 miles and there's plenty of charging options along the route (including 5x EA stations). I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Less, but you'll still be fine. You might only have ~180 miles in the cold but it's still plenty to get there.

I'm glad you came to the forum to ask, I understand the anxiety. But there's definitely plenty of tools that could reassure you, including the big screen in your car.

Don't blindly trust the big screen in your car, it can give weird directions sometimes. Verify with something else like ABRP.

Off-topic Question, do you have the Night Pony Package on your GT? Noticed your wheels were black, but I though the Night Pony Package changed the wheels, not just make them black, which is why I am asking. I have a GT PE with Night Pony :).

I had them powder coated. I cut the aero plastic caps down to just the center part. And painted black then polished the center caps. They look 100%.

I think cooler November weather in Southern California should give you more range when you charge not less. I live in Phoenix, AZ and get more range in the cooler months than in the hotter months. Obviously you will loose range if it is very cold out. People in the north loose range in the winter. Speed will make a big difference. 65 is the limit where you live . Going 75 to 80 mph will have dramatic effect just like in an ICE car.

With my GTPE I always change the reference consumption to 2.5 mi/kWh in settings for a more realistic plan ?
