The styling of the cybertruck is so out of left field. I secretly wonder if they have a backup design hiding somewhere. Crazy styling is appealing to the "look at me" crowd but it's just an ugly truck if you make 200k of them.

It's not the width that is the issue John but the clearance. Only about 73-74"; less when you account for the garage door opener mounted on the ceiling. Not sure my lady's new Maverick is going to fit because of that antennae.

Seriously, it was price and clearance that kept me from getting either a Lightning or Rivian. Though, now, after seeing Tom M. on State of Charge do it, I don't think charging outside would be so bad. Even in the winter. So it boils down to price.

Funny, I never noticed that they're all anagrams of each other.

It's just cardboard boxes, so wouldn't do too much damage if anything fell. But I do get up there on a ladder to make sure the garage door passes whenever I add or remove anything.

Of course we're in earthquake country, so if there's a big one, all hell's gonna break loose!

As for ACP/AA, I think it's very, very over hyped. Tesla, selling millions of cars a year, doesn't have ACP/AA either. I thought it would be a huge issue for me and I even purchased a separate unit to run AA, but I never ended up using it. The responsiveness or clean UI they have works plenty well. I can still play my music and control it through BT. The only thing I miss is Waze, which I just run on the phone. I only used it for cop alerts anyway.
