Why hasn’t anyone posted a pic of the screen changes?

Are there really screen changes? That part of the release notes kinda sound like they may be recycled from the last Sync refresh.

Did a quick search but didn’t see a post. I just received the below. Note that I was notified by an error! Then the ford pass notification.

Pretty sure it's one of the required BlueCruise updates. 6.x will be the BlueCruise 1.3 series. So far we've had GWM (6.1) and APIM (6.2) updates, TCU will probably be next, and then we can finally get to actual driving software.

I just got 6.2.0. It has SYNC 4 Software Version 23237. I do see the Record Feedback in the App screen now. I don't see any other changes.

Pretty sure it's one of the required BlueCruise updates. 6.x will be the BlueCruise 1.3 series. So far we've had GWM (6.1) and APIM (6.2) updates, TCU will probably be next, and then we can finally get to actual driving software.

Probably an update for the IP as well? I assume there are a few icons we will need and animations to get updated there as well.

It does appear the status bar is a tiny bit smaller. (maybe by a few pixels.) It’s noticeable in CarPlay for me as there is a thicker black border on top now. They could probably fix this and increase the size a tiny bit if they wanted to.

Also now see a LTE signal strength icon for the vehicle itself and not just one for a connected phone. Nice little add there too.

Maybe in a year the clipper icons will get replaced. I keep submitting the feedback that the icons are trash and really kill the modern look.

That's why you'll have to stay tuned to the forum. Nobody is going to know until it finally starts working for someone.

There will probably be about a half dozen updates required, and we are on 2 of 6 now. I figure it will take a week or two per update release because of problems (that's about the pace we've seen). So perhaps 4-8 weeks from now until we get functional BlueCruise 1.3.

I'm sure somebody could click a button and release all the updates tomorrow, but that would never happen. Super conservative rollout over 3 months more likely.

I just got 6.2.0. It has SYNC 4 Software Version 23237 Rev 980. I do see the Feedback in the App screen now. I don't see any other changes.

Updating with FDRS also gave me SYNC 4 Software Version 23237 Rev 980 and Feedback in the app screen. It was a 6GB APIM update so I'd think we would see more than just a new app.

EDIT: I noticed the "Heat" button is wider.

Maybe they are clamoring to find out if it’s worth a hill of beans, never mind the insane 800 a year price. Don’t get me wrong, BC has it’s uses, but I think that no matter how good it becomes, no one is going to pay 800 a year for the sub.

I just find it comical that 90% of the people hyped over BC are the same ones swearing they would never pay for it. There's literally 50 pages of temper tantrums.

Well I can think of 2 rebuttals

1) those of us who have job 1 21 builds still get the chance at $600 for 3 years, which I personally will likely do
2) even if you don't pay for blue cruise, hands on lane centering still works for free and benefits from the improved stability of 1.3 (for example, less ping pong madness)

My 21 already has '23 IPC software on it, 6.2 APIM went on it today.
