Ford Pass charge rate, energy added info not shown at home charger

I have noticed that Ford Pass does not show info for "charge rate" or "energy added" when charging on my home charger. (Grizzl-E Classic)

This info does appear when charging at public "networked" chargers.

Am I correct that this is because the Mach E does not measure this information itself and relies on the charger to provide it?

No, that's not correct.

It shows both. You must look WHILE PLUGGED IN before you unplug.

A charging session is in progress and has been running for 90 minutes. Ford Pass shows info for "distance added" and "time on charger" but "charge rate" and "energy added" stay blank with just "--" placeholders shown.

Interesting. Mine is done charging, but if I click on Details, it shows distance added (wrong), no charge rate (accurate, not charging), energy added (accurate), and time on charger (which is really time plugged in in total). I'm on Android if that matters.

Try doing force stop the app and reopening it, clear cache etc. Charge rate is when car is charging. I get 7Kw normally from 32A.

I usually get 203mi on 85% it's been real cold nights these past two days could be why meh.

Sometimes it shows it, depending on the latest data retrieved from the server, make sure your car is in an area with cell coverage or WiFi

Sometimes it shows. Sometimes it doesn’t. Like everything about FordPass. Even when you get a number, there’s a good chance it’s wrong anyway.

Update. After an out-of-city trip with a DCFC top-up along the way, the missing information is now appearing in Ford Pass as the car recharges at home.

Is 50% your regular target charge level? That would give my wife some real range anxiety. If the range gets down to 100 miles she's ready to charge.

It is. We live in a Canadian city which is tiny by USA comparison. (400,000 people) Our daily use is all in-city, not long-distance commutes like most people. Plus, we have free charging options at work (a few chargers shared on a weekly schedule among people who have EVs.) We charge to 50% at home and to 80% + when it's our day to use a at-work charger.

Actually, mine is showing right now too. I haven’t seen that work in quite a while. Maybe something got fixed on the back end. Time will tell.
