I originally had the theory a lot are trying at 1am so I moved it a little early so the servers were not so busy. You went the opposite way. Of course this was just a theory.

No update last night for 1:01, I changed it to 12:58 and will see.

FWIW after not getting updates for a few months (despite being EA), I’ve tried no schedule, auto updates off etc. This is the first time I changed the time though. People did run my VIN and there are many updates available.

There really is no rhyme or reason. I got my first update, 3.5.2 three weeks after I got the vehicle in July, then two weeks later got 3.5.3, then 79 days to get 3.5.3.3, and then two weeks to get 3.5.3.4 then two weeks to get the one I just got a couple days ago, 3.5.4

When I compared the timeframes to the release dates of those updates, there is no correlation. ?

OK this is no longer coincidence. I have tested this at least 5 times now and it has worked every time. Simply change the update time in settings to get an update. All you need to do is change it by one minute. If there are updates being sent out to others I will get it within 24 hours of making the change. I started this by accident over a year ago and it has worked every single time. Just got 6.6 non ea. I made the change this morning and there the update is.

And now a second update less than 12 hours later. Priority Update 23-PU0314-DCM-LAT

Tried your trick yesterday before starting an hour drive to visit family, and it seemed to work for me! After doing a DC fast charge, I got this notification on my screen that it updated to 6.2.1. Thanks for the heads up. I normally do my own updates in FDRS but it was nice to have this one OTA.

Dang, and here I was going to post that this myth was busted (at least for me).

Still no updates since August 7.
