Will Ford make it clear when we get the final update for Bluecruise 1.3?

I laugh almost every time I see the update notes in my car or on FordPass. I've seen so many regurgitated release notes that have nothing to do with what was actually updated. For example, almost every one of the 6.X updates had notes of something that my car already received in a previous update, but it obviously updated other stuff separate from that. But it's all a mystery.

Update will say "this will fix the issue with updates and motion sensors" and then it will also revert our setting

When I got BC 1.0 via OTA there was a small final OTA that activated BC. The notes were very clear that BC was now active.

I want them to bring back the release notes for SecuriAlert just for nostalgia’s sake. Only the 2021ers will get this.

I stand corrected. Maybe he was out of the country when he tweeted this and was thinking of the Summer Solstice time in the southern hemisphere.

I'm confident Ford will announce when the last of the BC 1.3 Power Ups have started going out. Ford was clear about this for those of us who received BC 1.0 via Power Ups.

yes, but at the minute I am less confident that I will actually get the last update... or the next one for that matter... still at 6.1

6.8.0 was supposed to be the final OTA to enable BC 1.3. Last I heard that might change due to some of the bugs throughout the 6.x rollouts.

As for release notes, those are supposed to improve in 7.0+ so I wouldn't hold your breath on decent release notes until then.

What would be the reason to only start more detailed and accurate notes from 7.0 forward? Why not start now?

Since they are going to ask for subscription money to keep BC activated, they are *definitely* going to make it clear when 1.3 is rolled out to your vehicle.
