For a year I used the Ford mobile charger that came with my ‘22 MME Premium, then bought a Wallbox Pulsar Plus. Worked great for a few weeks then would cut out each time. Sent it back and am using the Ford mobile charger again. Any recs for a better L2 unit?
Before you buy anything, check with your utility company. A lot of them offer rebates or subsidies on specific brands.

+1 - received $100 back on my Emporia thanks to a local utility rebate. It works great, though the app is a little cluttered as it is the same app for Vue, which I dont have. But honestly I never look at the app anyhow.

If you're looking to install a EVSE the Emporia is hard to beat. It's the best bang for your buck EVSE on the market right now.

I’m at the two year mark with my ChargePoint HomeFlex and have had zero issues. I had it installed by an elevctrician. I use the app to monitor my electrical usage.

I chose it as my utility company had a $500 rebate on it. Also got a federal tax credit so it was inexpensive in the end.

I got the Emporia last week, a big 5% off for Black Friday, lol. I have used the Ford mobile charger since I got the car in July 21, but I would like better information on how much power I used and the warranty will expire in a few more months. I already had the Emporia Vue which works with the charger, but not sure how yet. I needed a 3ft extension cord to plug in the Emporia since the outlet was installed for the Ford which has the cord going up, and the Emporia going down. Not work the extra expense to rewire just to get from 40A to 48A.

And yeah, I saw the dips during charging that others mentioned, but most of the time - about 3 hours for my first run to 90% - it stayed pretty close to 9.5kWh. Now I'm trying to reconcile what the charger reports vs what FordPass thinks the car got.

One additional bonus is if we have a lot of load on the house, for example running the oven and the cooktop and dryer, the Emporias together can throttle back the charger.
Thanks for much for choosing the Emporia Level 2 Smart Home EV Charger and glad to hear you have a Gen 2 Vue Energy Monitor as well! If you have any specific questions we're always happy to help.

Combined with the Vue, you'll have options for Peak Demand Management and Excess Solar Optimizer (if you have solar panels and want to charge with excess generation). More info here: https://help.emporiaenergy.com/hc/en-us/articles/9227922482199

Grizzl-E are well made (not Chinese), simple to configure for max charge setting (dip switches) up to 40A (10kW), once that's done it's fit and forget. Very long24ft lead.
Yup I have a Grizzl-e as well. It's Canadian made. Rugged and works like it should. Cord can handle the winters and weather.
Would buy another in a heart beat.
