(un)Stuck at 6.1.0 - 2021 Only

Nice job @Ford Motor Company. Not only did I get 6.3.0 yesterday but today:

My wife drove Marlin this morning and when we got this afternoon in I found 6.4.0 was downloaded:

We drove to a 2- hour afternoon seminar and I hit the "Update Now" button.

I was disappointed when we got out to find 6.4.0 was not completed:

(cue the Debbie Downer wah-wah).

Being a within a couple of miles of a favorite local brewery, we drove there before heading home.

I can only assume that 6.4.0 finished (or the "paperwork" finished) as we arrived at the brewery to find 23-PU0722-DC-CHG3 queued up!

Of course I want to "Update Now"

Relaxed after the brewery stop,

We found 23-PU0722-DC-CHG3 was complete!

Ready for 6.6.0!

Similar schedule today. We went to a local brewery which is closing and when we arrived 6.4.0 was queued up. So while it installed...

On the next stop at a Lodi winery 23-PU0722-DC-CHR3 was ready, and loaded while we stopped there. Now awaiting the next update.

Currently 6.1

Had an opportunity to get into the frunk today, lift the panels to access the battery and put a charger on it. Recently completed a 160 mile trip and had driven it earlier today. Just thought I would give the 12v a full charge.... showed under 25% charge when it started!

I don't think for a second that it's SoC related as to why I'm 6.1 as I checked for updates while out and about earlier and it said none available.

not much harm in having a fully charged LVB... but I think you will see a failed update (pre-conditions not met message) as opposed to no update available if the LVB is the blocker.

BTW, drilling the holes to enable charging without removing the beauty covers has been a good use of my time. You might take this opportunity to do that.

Is that what I’ve been doing wrong. Instead of going home for a beer, I should go straight to a brewery. Even if it didn’t work it’s not a wasted trip so good thinking!
