I have very little “inside info”, but I’d hazard a bet that most EA cars haven’t received 7.0. In fact very few probably have. Plus a lot of EA cars are still at 6.2.1, 6.3, 6.4 or 6.6. It’s been 10 days since my last numbered update and I’m not atypical in that regard.
I got 6.6 I think on the 10th, then on the 12th and 14th I got 6.7 and 6.8.

Job 1 2021 not in EA

You should only make the software update version go from a 6 to 7 if there is a meaningful change. Hopefully, there are some more exciting things updated than just pdating BC to 1.4.
I feeeeel like a Bluecruise update is enough to warrant a version number change.

I'm in EAP and was getting all these 5.1.x and 6.x updates through 6.4.0 then the 2nd 6.2.0 in the first batch of cars that got them...then poof no more numbered updates. I think I got 2 of these latest unnumbered updates afterwards but I seem to be left out again.

They stopped coming in around when I got my HVBJB repair. I wonder if that had something to do with it.
same I went in for a door repair at which time they told me they “did some software updates” and then all of a sudden my car stopped getting all these updates or was getting them at a slower pace.

Before getting 6.3.0 this week it had been since October 21st when I got 6.1.0.

I logged into the EA site and my car had become unregistered.

It did, because the tech updated some modules. Both my EVs were in for service recently. The Mach-E was serviced the first week of November, so I got 6.4, then the next numbered one I got was 6.7. My Lightning was in the shop the 2nd week of November, I got 6.3 before that and on 12/8 got the diagnostic capabilities update.

I also have become unregistered from EAP. I do not post about software updates so assuming I missed completing a survey or accepting a new TOS. As I re-register it seems that they have updated the application process.

I got the email from Ford just now with link to fill out survey. I'm still on 6.1.0 on my 21 Job 1 in EA. Got the unnumbered update twice (11/21, and 12/12), was stuck on 6.2.1 not complete for nearly 3 weeks, then it disappeared.
Did it never completely install? I thought my car had installed 6.2.1 about 10 days ago, but I got back from vacation and yesterday the car said it hadn't completed.

Because a lot of times the updates and things we get aren’t ready yet. Lots of bugs, not completely done. They’re testing them out for good reason.
And at this scale and safety they don't really have a choice but to have EA. They can simulate this all they want but it's not enough edge cases. I don't see them being able to take EA away (at least in the next 5 to 10 years) but possibly restricting it much more after enough leaks.
I think if they really cared enough about people leaking EA stuff the FoMoCo account would have the ability to ping and admin and get it removed. But they'd ask for the Vin number instead.

I guess whoever purchased the vehicle must be happy ...
Is EA tied to the VIN? (If so that's gotta be exciting for the new owner...)

Maybe, maybe not. I have had some successful installs that gave me a "Not Completed" Sync screen message. Ford is looking into this issue.

Why does the Ford Early Access login site still say "wait listed" if they sent an invite for this via early access member email?

And as soon as I posted that, I looked in FordPass. 6.3.0 installed last night. Yesterday, I checked twice in the car. First time, it said 6.2.1 had not completed (before I drove a bit and the car was sitting for 8 days). I drove about 15 minutes, nothing, drove some more, made a stop, drove back home. When I got home, I checked again for updates in the car and I got "This might take a few minutes". After "a few minutes" of seeing that, I shutdown the car and left it. Just now, I saw 6.3.0 in FordPass.

So, moving on. I hope. My 21 Job 1 was built the last week of the Job 1s. Maybe they push out updates based on VIN?

It never fully installed. Just sat at "Not Complete" for almost 3 weeks, then disappeared and the unnumbered update installed again.

Part of the order is by model year if there are distinctions. Another is Early Access Program or not. Beyond that is more muddy. There's no indication they go in VIN order, though.

I don't remember who it was, but I remember a forum member predicting we would jump straight to 1.4 and the majority were very skeptical. Kudos to them, they called it right.

Depends on how smoothly the rollout goes, but it could be fairly fast, if (if!) things go well with 7.0. Definitely after the holidays, but wouldn't surprise me to see some non-EAP vehicles get it in January.

For a while I was receiving updates just a week after (or less) after they went to EAP, though that has slowed down recently (I got 6.7.0 this week, so now a few updates and 10+ days behind EAP).

Of course, if they detect some bugs and decide to release a 7.0.1 or whatever before rolling out to non-EAP, then all bets are off...
Yep, I specifically remember that too. Not sure what thread it was. He was pretty adamant that we would be getting 1.4 instead of 1.3. A LOT of prominent posters on here very strongly disagreed with him and said that wouldn't be happening and he was crazy. How's that crow tasting?
