Ford 360 is not Bluecruise

I had a 21 Select without Blue Cruise and I have a 22 GTPE currently also without Blue Cruise. I don't think it was until the 23 model year did all the cars come with it.

So, I was one of the first waves of the 2021 mach e mustang. I got lucky (supposedly) as someone who preordered a fully loaded was denied finance. Skipping the 10 month wait list, I stated if I was to buy it had to have the blue cruise aka ford 360 co-pilot.

Inquiring about getting my blue cruise turned on when I realized it wasn’t active, I learned my car didn’t have blue cruise at all. Has anyone else encountered this problem that you didn’t learn you co-pilot wasn’t capable of blue cruise until after you purchased it?

Yup, definitely some naming confusion when these cars first came out.

The bad news? You don’t have Bluecruise (or the 360 cameras).

The good news? You didn’t pay for it.

These things cost me $2500 when I bought my 2021.

There‘s a very easy way to tell. Do you have a glass roof? If not, you don’t have BlueCruise.

We're not talking about a subscription. His car didn't come with the hardware for BlueCruise.

They can.

Because the window stickers don’t say they come with BC……. Except the ones that say you get 3 years for $600.

In the case of the OP, the sticker didn’t say he paid for either.

The regular assist 2.0 is more than adequate in my mind. Plus you don’t have to pay $800/year to use it lol. Remember, there are currently no consumer self driving cars.

FYI, this is only true for the GTPEs. In 2021 you could get a base GT with BlueCruise, but not the glass roof. That is what I have.

Yep, I had to decide whether Magneride and bigger front brakes was my thing or the 360 cameras. I got the Magneride and bigger brakes. I just wish that stupid Ford allowed me to pay extra for the cameras. ??

Have you inspected your wiring harnesses? You can add them if you really wanted to. My XLT F150 has more features in it than a 22/23 platinum does due to the deletes.

The prices of the parts from wrecking yards are still too high for my tastes. Still poking around on wrecking yards every week or so but prices haven't budged in a while. ?‍?
