Mine's going through its surgery today.

I received the "gift" postcard but was told I was the first one who had. Luckily, it's not the first HVBJB they've done - just as part of the recall where the "gift" was provided.

HVbJB replacement was completed last Friday afternoon and today the “recall notice” in my Fordpass account has been cleared.

my dealer is pretty quick at entering things so it took 3 full working days to clear.

Did you get the card from the dealer?
Yes. I suspect it's all part of the ordering process if it's followed correctly.

They had it with my paperwork for the service.

Hopefully getting the car back tomorrow. I learned it's the first recall repair they've done, but they've done HVBJB replacements before for failed units. They're taking their time to make sure they're following the recall process. Fully supportive of that approach.

I took my car in on Tuesday to complete the high voltage junction box recall along with a couple other recalls that were on my VIN and and get my tires rotated and they were done with it on Thursday. They provided me with a 2023 Ford escape to drive in the meantime and I'm now waiting to get it washed. The service tech said a new program started today and Ford is providing all Mach E owners that complete the recall with a free car wash, 30,000 Ford pass reward points, a new mobile phone charging mat with the latest design and a $50 gift card to reimburse for gas or charging for the loaner vehicle. I am very impressed and this was completely unexpected so thank you to @Ford Motor Company!!

Interesting...the beginning of the card I received says "Ford Motor Company and your Ford Dealer..." so the dealers may have some skin in the game, but the fine print around FordPass Rewards smells very corporate-y.

sorry, but it seems quite disjointed and random which reflects similar experiences in other areas as well. bottom line, I won't hold my breath. oh wait...isn't this the grumpy thread?

No. The current HVBJB recall is pretty new, November or December of 2023. The 2022 recall was a software “fix.” ??

They are embracing the EVs and have a lot on their lot and are going to be adding some fast chargers so maybe they joined Ford's certified EV program.

Meanwhile I took my Mach E for a failed driver-facing camera today, they had no loaners available (they never seem to have any). My only option would be to get a rental that's at least $30/day if I need a car, oh and they won't be able to even look at it until next week.
I was just out of warranty. Paid $1300. No loaners. And they still haven’t been able to load software. I hope you have better luck. Their mechanic called ford hotline and was told there is no solution available right now. I paid for a new camera and have no blue cruise. Thanks ford!!!!
