Hey all, sorry if this has been asked and answered.

What are the tallest AND widest tires I can put on stock 2022 Premium wheel/rims?

Thanks in advance... the OEMs have lasted like 12k miles..wow...so..goood...mmm..yeah..

So I would like to get taller and wider tires - don't care about "range"

Thanks for the reply, my current tire package is 225/55/R19 Michelin Primacy. The ride is nice but not as responsive as I would like. The list you put together really helps. What is the average range loss per what you have gathered from reports here? And which 255/45/20 tire on your list seems to be the most popular EV performance package among Premium trim friends on the forum?
It is really hard to say what the range lost will be with the new wheels. If I had to take a guess from talking to several members on this forum and others, it seems to be an average of 5% loss in range when using an EV tire and about 7-10% with a non-EV tire. I have aftermarket wheels and with EV tires, I have a very minimal range loss, about 3%. With my performance summer non-EV tires, about 7%.

Again, not sure how up to date my list is but looking at that tire size, there are quite a few all season's but not too many performance all season's. The highest performance all season EV tire on that list in that size is the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus ELECT Ultra High Performance All-Season. Several members here have that exact tire and really like it. Has not gotten any poor reviews as far as I have seen. That also happens to be the tire I run in the winter months here when the temps are in the 20's and 30's (we rarely get snow).

Because the Premium has a 7" wide wheel, the tallest/widest tire that will fit it would be a 245/55/19 which 2 sizes up. It is almost 1" taller and 3/4" wider than the stock tire. You could also run a 245/50/19 which would be the same height as stock and 3/4" wider. Those are mainly your only two choices.

It's the premium AWD Extended in the space white.. color matching the fender flares was a must!

Brian, Very nice - I like the way it sits. So many questions for you.... Any suspension work? How low is that front lip? And, where / how did you color match the fenders? Did you purchase another set of fenders or had the originals re-painted?

Hi all
Can anyone tell me the weight of the original wheels and tyres on a AWD premium.?
Mine has bridgestone turanza t005 225 55 19 tyres
I am defiantly shopping around for 20s but I don't want to end up with a wheel and tyre package that is alot heavier than the originals.

Hi Mike, the standard premium machined faced 19" wheels come in right around 30 lbs and the Michelin Primacy tires that normally come on them are 29 lbs. I could not find the Bridgestone Turanza T005 tire weight for the 225/55/19 size but their Turanza EV tire in that size is 30 lbs. I would think the T005 would run between 29-30 lbs also.

I've been looking through this thread and really love some of these setups, but I'm looking for something super-vanilla.

I just picked up a '23 Premium AWD and my problem is that I really, really don't like the stock alloys (the Nite Pony dipped ones are nice but my dealer didn't have one in stock). My plan? I want to buy a better-looking set of alloys in the stock size, give or take a half-inch, move my OEM tires to the new wheels for summer, and keep the OEM alloys for winter. I do NOT want to move up to 20s and I don't want to go wider as I do not want to compromise range.

So I'm looking for a decent wheel that comes in the same 19x7 40mm offset as stock, preferably in a bronze finish (though I'm open to some nice greys). Any recommendations?

Hi
Could any of you help me that have a good knowledge on wheels and tyres please.
I have a 2022 premium with the 19" stock machine faced alloys.
I would like to go for 20s in a black finish and have looked at what I think I need.
I have attached pictures..
Question is..
Will they fit?
I would like the wheels to move out right to edge of fenders. Will these accomplish that?
I realise that according to the tyres I've chose it looksnlike I will be 1% bigger on the circumference. I'm hoping that doesn't cause any trouble??
Any advice would be great..
Thanks
Mike.

Absolutely a solid fit for that vehicle. You are gaining an inch 1/2 in width from factory and 8mm of poke from the offset of the wheel.

Thanks for the reply. So these will take the tyres and rims pretty much to the edge of fenders without sticking out? And with no rubbing on turn etc? Sorry to ask so many questions just I want to mail order and don't want problems once I have fitted them myself..
Thanks
Mike

Sorry, I tried to post a wheel offset calculator but it's not working. The aftermarket wheel will set 27mm or approximately and inch further out. The range for an 8.5 wide wheel would be +35 - +55 so the +48 is ideal. I hope you don't mind a DM coming your way.
