Looks great! Any difference in ride quality? Do you like it? Mileage loss? Thanks!
Difference in ride quality? Yes, absolutely. Much better when cornering. Just feels more sturdy and confident. We have received quite a bit of snow this past week and it has done wonderful in the snow and slush.

Mileage loss? Yes, but I don't think drastic. Hard to tell since winter has hit and I have the normal cold weather loss anyway.

Do I like it? Yes, absolutely. Love the look and feel and ride. I would do it all over again.

Thanks- how about bounciness? Firmer or softer than stock wheels?
I believe softer. I felt quite a bit of bounce with the stock tires and wheels. I have not noticed that nearly as much with the new setup.

Looks so awesome. Any appreciable (>30 miles) mileage loss that you noted? Ride quality difference? Any input is much appreciated. Thanks!
Thank you. No major differences in range that I saw. Maybe 10-20 miles in best conditions. Ride quality is better IMO. Steering felt better too since the tires are superior to the factory ones.

I am wondering though, is this the ice white package? I really really want color matched fenders dang it.

What do you think a good size upgrade would be on a Select if you don’t lower the car?

Hi Folks, I just picked up a GTPE with winter rubber on it, and am looking for some rims to go with summer tires.

Does anyone know if Volvo XC40 rims will fill a Mach E? It uses the Volvo/Ford/Jag/Rover bolt patterns and hub diameter, but has a bit of an odd width and stagger.

The front rims are 20x8" ET 50.5.
The rears are 20x9 with at ET58.5.

Anyone know if they rears willl clear?

With those wheels, the tire sizes you would go with are 245/45/20 up front which is the OEM size for the GTPE and in the rear, 275/40/20 which would match the diameter of the fronts but be slightly wider. The fronts will have no issue fitting because the wheel and tire sizes are same as OEM and the offset is only 3mm difference. In th rear with the wider wheel, tire and an offset that is 11mm difference, this will put it a full 1" closer to the suspension. That's cutting it close but it should fit. The reason I say this is because I have run 10" ET47 wheels in the rear with 295/40/20's and they fit but are close. Also, there are several other members here that have that same exact setup (10" ET47 295/40/20 rear). I'm running 10.5" ET47 with 315/35/20 and they didn't fit without a slight modification to the upper shock mount.

I would NOT get a tire in the rear any wider than 275/40/20 and I would suggest the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S as it has a flat sidewall design compared to most tires that are rounded. Than makes a difference when you're cutting it close. With my wide setup in the rear, that is the only tire that will fit. Also, make sure you get an alignment and that they don't set up the rear to have any more than -1.4 camber. Much more negative camber than that will cause the inner sidewall of the tire to contact the upper shock mount.

As a side note, the size tires that Volvo uses on those wheels are 235/45/20 and 255/40/20. Those do not have the proper load rating for the Mach-E that is why you need to go with a minimum of 245/45/20 up front and 275/40/20 in the rear to match the front diameter.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it might be more effort than it's worth.
My Mach E is my DD, so I'd rather not have to risk rubbing again. I've had enough of the with my Mk2 GTI.

I've also been seeing reasonably cheap GT wheel sets up on ebay. That might be the better choice.

Hello All, after thoroughly “studying” these posts for several weeks, I have decided to up from my 18s to 19s and 255/50 tires. The set up will be 11mm more overall circumference than the original. Will that be a problem? The reason I chose that size is because I want to go with Pirelli zero elect tires, who claim very low resistance and a very comfortable ride.

Won't be a problem at all, but make sure you're getting at least an 8.5" wheel. 9" would be my personal preference for a 255/50R19

Hello Forum. I've found the wheels I want to get for my 2023 MME Premium. 20x8.5 +35 Lexani Wraith. I'm looking for recommendation on a tire package that would possibly enhance performance while maintaining range. I live in Southern Cali so an all season tire would do just fine Thanks for any suggestions.

Welcome to the forum Mark! There is a ton of info on this thread and many others that will give you the answer you are looking for. I'll just note a few things below.

About range, no matter what tire set you get, your range will go down a bit because of your wheels. They are less aero than the OEM's so you will take a small hit right there. That said, if you don't want your range to go down any further, I would certainly get a tire that is EV rated as they usually have less rolling resistance than non-EV tires.

About performance, unless your Premium has optional summer tires, the OEMs are grand touring all season tires. Any performance all season tire will be better than a grand touring tire. About tire size, OEM size is 245/45/20. Since you are getting 20x8.5 wheels, I would go up one size to 255/45/20. The largest size you can run on those wheels is one more size up 265/45/20 if you wanted to do that.

Bottom line, I would go with a 255/45/20 performance all season EV tire. There are a few 255/45/20 performance all season EV tires in that category. There are many more choices for non-EV tires if you decide that you're not as concerned about the range. This is a list I put together last year so it may be a little out of date but these are all the EV tires in the Mach-E 19" and 20" size that were available at that time. https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/tire-suggestions.28543/page-3#post-653387

Thanks for the reply, my current tire package is 225/55/R19 Michelin Primacy. The ride is nice but not as responsive as I would like. The list you put together really helps. What is the average range loss per what you have gathered from reports here? And which 255/45/20 tire on your list seems to be the most popular EV performance package among Premium trim friends on the forum?
